Played more Griffon City Blues tonight. A fun time was had by all. Even the Jive Turkeys had fun.
Early Production M4 Sherman. Again minimal weathering mostly just dry brushing and some graphite lining to simulate exposed metal.
M10 Tank Destroyer! Again mostly just dry brushing and no weathering. If you think about it, most tanks would have tried to stay on the road and not have crossed over muddy terrain if they could avoid it, so as not to risk getting stuck or being bogged down if they came under attack.
Chaos Cultists of Sect Anarkus
These are really awesome-looking, but I’m surprised someone would put that much effort into Chaos Cultists. Usually people reserve this kind of work for special characters.
Lords of Waterdeeeeeeeep
Still one of my favourite moments on TableTop, if only because of the look on Wil’s face.

Guess who’s back for Ticket to Ride: Europe? 2 weeks from now…
Dogs of War set from Lead Adventure miniatures as seen on Stalker 7 blog.
Lewis & Clark, enfin!

Lewis & Clark, finally! I expected this game for a couple of months! 2 players conf and it was a lot of fun. Deckbuilding part is quite light (a lot easier than in “A Few acres of snow” for instance), card action phase with neighbour cards reminds me what I loved in Western Town (but in a much more simple way here). Indian placement on the board looks a lot like the workers of The Stone Age and it is great! Well, including ressource management (on your boats) all these mechanisms just fit together to make a very enjoyable game! Definitely my favorite of this end of year, with a very strong theme, now I can’t wait to play agian with more friends :D

I know this is not the way I traditionally start the day, but you’ve just got to keep up with my ramblings.
I wish I had the time and space to build scenery like this. God knows that I’ve probably got all the parts already.
I just learned how to play Risk, and I’m dominating. I’m not a strategist by any means… Which means I had to document this game.
Some nice pictures of the default RISK board game.
In a Galaxy Far Far Away…
After negotiating pre-registration for Nerdtacular 2013, and finally getting a tasty burger, Matt “The Favorite” and I sat down to play the X-Wing Miniatures Game. This is a rather well done skirmish or even large scale battle game set in the Star Wars universe, that uses some play mechanics I had experienced earlier with Crimson Skies, through WizKids.

I’m like the Sauron of Warhammer 40,000.
Thanks again for following this blog, I appreciate it greatly.
