#facedrawing #headache #emptiness #autoportret 😱 Realism is not about drawing all details, one have to choose. What about the truth? So cool I don’t have to draw my acne, or maybe I should...;)

Circovita 2, 2016
Per Spildra Borg has delved into the myths surrounding what is unfolding in the whale's belly. He has made a performance with elements of circus and dance and dream images. The music is specially composed by Ingar Zach and hsns trio O3. This time also with Miguel Angel Tolosa on electronics. Gaia hall is transformed into a whale, and the crowd and players living inside the whale's mysterious belly of the roughly hour show runs. Wasching Circles
An object like piece of bathroom or coffin. White tiles are placed in an irregular order, some are overprinted with symmetrical, geometric forms created by handwriting. The main figure in these compositions is circlel which is carried out continuously "movement" repeating words or sentences. It is something between poetry, diary and a purification verbally by calling experience, stacking, sorting. Placing intimate, handwritten content on a large ceramic form has a goal of sanctification them and gives them a monumental character. This form of writing also forces the viewer to move, then kneeling to turnover neck, which I refer to religious rituals creating their own versions (the object may be accompanied by performance, which is such a ritual). Circle has many simbolic meanings, one of which is a reference to the female energy, also water. This is due to the universal theme like fear and love as well as looping, continuous repeating patterns. Is important to receive it in a direct and maybe unconscious.
materials: OSB, ceramic tile and white with black print, silicone, acrylic; size approx. 162x2x23 cm
