THIS IS IT! THIS IS THE AU THAT I MADE BASED ON THE EVIL CHASE YOUNG X GOOD JACK. I name this au, Berrywitched thanks to a good friend of mine who suggested the name.
Lore:
Jack:
- Belongs to a family of powerful witches who are known to carry staffs with a lamp attached on its end.
-They were then called Lamp Wielders.
-Ancestors were greedy jerks and went after a wish granting entity to turn their into the strongest magic users in the whole universe.
-Wish granted but their greed comes with a price, they are cursed to die by their own spells if they use it too much (ex: last spell used is fire based, they die by being consumed by their own fire).
-In fear of dying, their family lessened their use of magic and was often mistaken for being weak.
-Side effects of their curse include: markings on their bodies and on their left eye that glows when in use, Fruit themed magic (still works normally but appears in fruit forms), and bright colored eyes and hair for future the generations.
-Until Jack's grandmother made a break through and use their lamp staffs as a tool to absorb excess magic, thus granting them the ability to use magic once more.
-meanwhile jack achieved something that no one else in his family has managed to achieve yet, being able to use magic for a long period of time without having to rely on his lamp. Over use will still kill him but he can last longer than any of his family.
-Started living alone at the age of 16 and was a terror to other beings who tried to fight him. Wuya included.
Chase:
-Was a warlord and was nicknamed Greed because of his ability to consume magic from others to gain more strength and power
- until one day when wuya and Hannibal (another warlord who wants chase dead), managed to weaken him and defeat him. Chase was badly beaten but managed to escape, unfortunately wuya followed him
-They were flying for a long while until wuya managed to catch him, she was about to kill him when she noticed the pomagrenate trees that surrounded them, suddenly she panics and tried to leave.
-Unfortunately she ran into the last person she didn't want to meet, jack.
-Jack was trying to shoot her away by shooting magic bullets at wuya who trying to avoid them, chase took the chance and left.
-Unfortunately while trying to escape, one of Jack's magic bullet missed and hit chase right on his wing causing him to fall and crash.
-Jack was worried and approached chase to ensure he was ok (he wasn't, he was about to faint)
-Last thoughts of chase before passing out was "who knew angels had red hair".
-He then woke up inside a pomegranate themed room.
Megan and jack are close here and Jack volunteers to train her as she masters her magic. Witches in their family call each other based on their fruits, but they get to call each other by their real names if they are alone or with a person that they trust.
Bonus: some other things I drew for this au!
While Chase started out not liking Jack, he eventually got around and appreciated him more. Maybe even change.
Was doodling one of my favorite versions of Reverse Xiaolin showdown (by Conji I believe EJFJKFKFF I LOVE IT) when I was motivated to draw my own version with chack. (Third photo is designed by a friend!)
Going more in depth. Jack as usual is trying to steal their sheng gong wu and or cripple the xiaolin temple and it's monks. This time he took a different approach. Though he found himself getting swooned more than him actually making any progress. Ended in him just heading home feeling embarrassed and flustered. And clay wondering if he will ever see that pretty lady with the snowy skin again. (also clack is another ship I love to dabble in X3)

Ballister (Stage name: Sangook)
Main Vocals and Lyricist. British Pakistan born and raised in Korea. His mom's a hunter, while his dad's a Demon. His demon dad's got silver periwinkle hair which means he only got his roots from his dad's hair colour which resemble his demon blood. Valerin, who's also a hunter, is in the same group as his mom, raised him when she died. Homeschooled through growing up yet did socialize with some friends once in a while. Grew up quiet and reserved until he met Jack and Kenji. Grew up believing that he's a mistake by his patterns, but Valerin reminded him that he's never a mistake. Not only is he interested in music but also into science. Came out as Trans at age of 15 to Valerin and she fully supports him. Has a full stock of concealer to hide every patterns on his skin. Wants to grow a mustache and Goatee a bit to feel more comfortable. Very flexible.
Kenji (Stage name: Geon-Ji)
Visuals and lead dancer. Born and raised in Japan until he was 10, that's when he moved to L.A. with his mom. Was known for both Dancing and Baseball growing up. His mom came to every Baseball game and Dance shows. Came out as Trans at 16 and the first thing Emiko did is that she bought Kenji his first Binder. Valerin came to one of his shows as a judge and offer him to join the Idol industry. But Kenji declines because he wasnt aiming to be a popstar but rather a baseball star, Valerin understand and respects his decision but was a little sad that she couldnt get Bal a new friend since he was kinda lonely, so she gave him her number if he changes his mind. When kenji went back to his school he auditioned to be a baseball star but was only allowed to be on the women's team. This would be like a painful moment for him casue his own coach who said who supported him was the one who told him this. That and some assholes (transphobic assholes) told him that he can't achieve anything as a trans man that Kenji got pissed and told them "watch me" and gave a call to Valerin asking about if the position was still available. And so he got the offer, he flew to Korea with his parents and Mina accompanying him for a while to settle and said goodbye to them after few weeks.
Jack (Stage name: Jaek) Lyricist and Rapper. Black sheep of the family with homophobic parents yet still good terms with his relatives. Great at ice skating and Robotics. Sometimes he does a little song writing in his spare time. Graduated early and came out as trans at 15. His mom puts him into many activities such as cheerleading, Ballet, and Gymnastics or anything considered girly since she couldn't accept him as trans. When his mom found out that he hasn't been going to his idol training and took him to the studio so he could train. They had an argument there cause keeps trying to tell his mom that he doesn't want to because well, she's trying to make him into a girl when he clearly said he's a guy. Valerin may have been there and understood that jack is trans, and since Valerin is trying to start an all trans group, she calmly deescalated the situation down and offered to train jack. This made the mom happy cause well, now someone could train jack but was immediately mad when she found out Valerin was accepting the fact that jack was trans. Jack, out of defiance to his mother, agrees to join, he was greeted with kindness and open arms by Valerin, which was something he hadn't have for a long time. Valerin was basically scouting Other potential members and jack just happened to be there.

GEUM BOYS BACK STORY
Ambrosius
-was born into a noble family, thanks to his family status, he easily got his dream job as a knight and immediately got one of the highest position
- was decent in his work but it was not good enough for him, from then on he started pressuring himself, his family was not helping his state as they would comment about how he’s not rising up in ranks
-wished to reach his family’s expectations and to fulfill his family’s legacy
-his shame was that he was the reason why his family had died. Unfortunate situation forced unto him because of his work which resulted the death of his family
- died in a battle because he didn’t fight back, welcomed the enemy’s blade and died
Juro
-father’s dreams were forced on to him which he disliked and wished to achieve his dream
-Gwi-ma answered and gave him the chance to leave his abusive home to achieve his dream, leaving his sick mother with his terrible father
-at the beginning he would call his mother to check on her, but eventually he gets so busy he stopped calling her
-his shame was that he failed to answer the call about his mother’s death as well as her funeral.
-consumed by his own guilt and regret, he (sewerslide) and arrived at the demon realm where Gwi-ma would constantly remind him of what he had lost.
Chase
-Xiaolin warrior from china and had 2 best friends
-felt like he was lagging behind them and wish to become stronger
-Gwi-ma heard him and made him stronger, this also made chase’s ego rise as well
-Thinking his friends would be proud of him but they sensed that he was dealing with some sort of dark magic
-believing they were jealous, he fought them and created many casualties. A lot of innocent lives were killed.
-he was defeated by his own friends and made him reflect on his life
-his shame was that he was consumed by his greed and hurt others because of it
Mime
- was a slave who wished to be a performer who people would admire
- his desire wasn’t that strong because he was focused on this little child whom he sees as his own sibling (not related)
- His desire only got stronger as their situation started to become worse for him and the child. And Gwi-ma answered
- mime was set free and was given a chance to perform to people, he wanted to take the child with him but the child was taken away and sent to another place to be sold
-mime promises to get him as soon as he has enough money
- Mime did gain enough money, but the problem was that he forgot
- his shame was that he broke his promise to the child whom he saw as his only family who he found out died due to the abuse being brought on the child
-mime was killed by another performer who accused him of stealing the spotlight from him.
Todd
- Was a jock in his school around 1980’s
-was the easiest to turn
-his wish was to be famous in school and be the best football player, parties every night and get the babes and get every nerd doing all of his homework for him while still getting 100%
-pretty stupid honestly
-he died from a car accident due to his drunk driving
-his shame was that he died in an embarrassing pose, saying that it would affect his reputation.
Jack sent on a mission to infiltrate the temple in disguise after some time and is shocked how much they’ve changed. Has him a bit nervous. Meanwhile chase trying to hold back every fiber of his being not to destroy clay.
