“Citizens of Oz!” Madame Morrible began, and for a second Elphaba thought herself celebrated—some naive part of herself believed Madame Morrible would host a celebration all throughout Oz for her. But Elphaba knew better—it doesn't match up with what she heard before.

“There is an enemy who must be found and captured. Believe nothing she says. She has stolen our Grimmerie. She is evil, responsible for the mutilation of these poor innocent monkeys! Her green skin is but an outward manifestorium of her twisted nature.” Oz, Elphaba Thropp what have you done? How could you do something so—inhumane?

Elphaba’s fateful meeting with the Wizard has been delayed after an unexpected and frankly, quite frightening vision. Left in Shiz with her closest friends (and their own troubles), Elphaba tries to, in some way, help the Animals and hopefully prevent what she foresaw.

nobody “writes like ai” as long as they write, then they write. period. there’s no “writing like ai”. because by saying someone “writes like ai”, you’re implying that ai actually writes and that ai is the blueprint. but what ai does is mimic human-made works.

ai writes (aka they’re mimicking) like humans. not the other way around.

saying “this writer writes like ai” is the equivalent of saying “your work looks like those other works that copied yours”

I know some people like to think that gelphie are doomed no matter what changes in every universe but I truly believe that if they had more time together at Shiz / dead Wizard in the movie verse... things would've turned out alright!

You better yourself when you surround yourself with people who bring out the best in you, and allow you to be your full authentic self and gelphie do that for each other in EVERY universe I fear

I do think book!Elphaba is pretty fucking doomed - you'd need attrition levels of intervention to steer her for the correct course (and lowkey Glinda too) so that's why I'm only saying movie verse wise.... they're the iteration of gelphie that has the most hope (I also think they were the closest to *ALMOST* getting it)

"gelphie won they got the i love you" "fiyeraba won they ran away together" glinda has to live the rest of her life thinking her best friend and fiance were murdered within hours of each other. elphaba had to relinquish her cause and leave her home forever and fake her death before a mob actually killed her and can never tell her grieving best friend the truth for her own safety and the safety of her love. fiyero was tortured and beaten to death and only survived by a spell that changed him into something that isn't human anymore and will never be human again and left behind everything and everyone about his old life except elphaba. NO ONE won they're the Throuple of Doom and Despair

yeah once elphaba and fiyero give it a week and send over that "hey we're alive xoxo" letter and meet up with her glinda's gonna see this face and he'll only get to think "maybe she doesn't want me like this because im not her perfect handsome dearest anymore :(" for about. 0.7 seconds before he's tackle-hugged to the ground with a squeaky toy noise and glinda starts covering his face in pink lipstick kiss marks.
