Something a lot of Ranma fanfiction writers misunderstand is the whole thing about Soun needing one of his daughters to get married so he can secure the future of the dojo. This has nothing to do with casual misogyny, it would actually be the exact same if he had all sons. It's the marriage that's the important part, specifically giving the dojo as a wedding gift, because in Japan putting real estate in your will is basically donating it to the government with extra steps. The inheritance taxes are harsh. Giving the home your family lives in as a wedding gift is a loophole that Japanese parents have been using for so long that they didn't feel the need to explain it to a young teen audience.

Odysseus: How many suitors are there? Servant: 128. Though, twenty of them formed a guard, after Antinous turned out to be a dick. Odysseus: *Thinking* Servant: Ten are away with the prince, the other ten are keeping guard over Penelope. Odysseus: Why? Servant: They're being bodyguards Odysseus: No, why did they come if they're not seeking the Queen's hand? Servant: Oh, they're trying to convince the Prince to marry their daughters. *Meanwhile* Guard #1: *Watching Telemachus with one of his friends* I'm starting to think the Prince might be swinging the other way. Guard #2: That's alright, I've got a son.

Telemachus walked into the dead suitors room silently, light blue yet nearly white paint streaked across his eyes like the god of war's. He was wearing the silver armor from the royal treasury along with with a more regal version of his original shawl.

The prince walked over to the suitors closet and opened the doors, taking a look over the clothing hanging before he grabbed the chiton then suitor wore most often and held it close in a hugging yet grieving type way.

"I miss you..."

(OOC; The amount of anons that are trying to make Telemachus hate Antinous actually makes me sick- like straight up I get like one a day at this point, I've stopped answering asks that aren't roleplay starters from people in the circle at this point)

Being grieved over was.. weird. When he was first dying, he wasn't really expecting people to actually care. But he was proved wrong immediately. And even as days passed, he still hadn't gotten used to seeing Telemachus – or anyone for the matter – cry over his doom.

He wasn't complaining. It was.. nice, in a way. Knowing that he was important to someone, not making someone feel bad, of course. Though, he couldn't understand why Telemachus genuinely cared.. it was a mistery still.

"I'm still here, you know?"

Antinous spoke up from the corner of the room, the arrow was no longer there, but the wound was. It hurt less, and it even made his voice clearer.
