A Catholic Prayer for Things that Aid in Transitioning

O Creator of All Things, who knit me into being,

O You who contain all genders, and none of them, and who is beyond gender,

O Loving Parent, O Love beyond all love,

Just as You where transformed before your disciples,

Please allow this (packer, breast forms, hormones, pronoun pin, surgery, etc)

to transform me more fully into the person You made me to be.

Just as You gave us wheat instead of bread

 so that we may participate in creation

allow this (transitioning aid) to help me participate in my own creation.

O Mary, loving mother, pray for your (son, daughter, child, etc.).

Your Son was cast out and killed for showing the world who He was.

But this, the greatest of rejections, did not stop Him from being who He is

And He rose into the fullness of His being shortly after.

Pray that I too will survive any rejection I might face as I show the world who I am.

O St. Jeanne d’Arc, who was arrested and executed, in part, for defying the ideas of gender of your time,
