Not all men are like that
men who are like that (via richgaaaang)
Can we mass produce this immediately?
If there's a god, I need you to help me before I snap up on an assbucket derailer over here on the twitters.
Amen.
Or should I? Maybe I should. I've brought this to tumblr before, it's a friend of mine that I'm fairly positive always takes personal offense to when I talk about white men, and makes a point to try to "prove me wrong" about how sexism doesn't exist in geek/gaming culture. Maybe I should just snap on his ass. He moved out of state anyway.

STOP WHAT YOURE DOING. THERES A KITTY SWIMMING ON YOUR DASH
hmmmmm
*sigh*
ya'll I've had one glass of wine and I'm tipsy and ranting on twitter and thinking about people I hate. (in my defense though it was a good rant and actually happened before I started drinking)

Was looking into a fellowship for over the summer, based around policy analysis. Getting some veiled talking down and doubt from a certain someone.
Get the fuck out of here, you think just because my attention span is short it means that I can't read or process anything dense? You apparently didn't pay attention when I finished my fucking undergraduate degree because two and a half years of my life was decoding and analyzing intellectual rabble.
And regardless, even if it does bore me out of my mind, its 10 weeks at $7500. Way more than I'd make at my current boring job.
I am just...really stressed out and frustrated right now. Got canceled on tonight (which I was really excited to see people because I haven't left my house in weeks it feels like and I won't have another night off until a week from now), got a call from my mom today saying her and my dad are either going to have to file for bankruptcy or foreclose on their house, and now this bullshit. Not to mention still trying to get crap worked out for when I start graduate school in September. I need either some complete alone time or a night out with a big group of people to just relax.
Did I show you all my Dune tattoo yet?
I had a boyfriend not so long ago who, whenever we got into an argument, would accuse me of âgoing soap opera.â âHere comes Telemundo!â he would shout. His (clearly gendered and vaguely racist) insult was supposed to make me feel like my anger wasnât validâthat it was frivolous and silly, that I was being overly dramatic. This was his not-so-subtle way of trying to shut me upâby accusing me of being emotional. (Unlike men, whose anger is always logical, of course.) Unfortunately, calling me out like this often worked. It felt immobilizing to be called dramatic. Even if you know youâre being reasonable, weâve internalized sexism so much, sometimes we even begin to doubt ourselves.

I wish I had read this a couple years back because this was my life.
