Being Human US VS UK

I just started being human US and i'll give credit where credits due, the romance between Aidan (Mitchell) and Sally (Annie) is a lot more believable. In the UK version they have more of a sibling relationship in the first 2 seasons which made their sudden romance very unbelievable. Although I don't know if they are going to put Aidan and Sally together in the US version, from what I've seen so far they definetly have chemistry.

Hal Yorke is me

When I was watching Being Human UK I was apprehensive at best for the introduction of the new cast. I loveeeee Mitchell, he was the highlight of the show for me and I couldn't even imagine the show without him. When they introduced Hal though, that all changed. I remember the moment I fell inlove with the character of Hal, it was a scene where he was sitting on the couch and he was pressing each of his fingers to his thumb. This stuck out to me because this is something I always do to fidget / regulate my emotions. I have autism and anger issues so seeing him do the fidget I always do and his character being about having routines to supress his compulsions was so relatable to me. I might not be a vampire but I can relate lol

Vampire of the day #7

The vampire of the day is Adam Jacobs from Being Human!

Adam was turned into a vampire as a teenager and is now eternally a teen. His parents were aware of him being a vampire and allowed him to feed off of them to prevent him from killing others. He was turned in the 80's.

In the present day of Being Human (2010's) he meet's the main cast as they help him after his father dies. Mitchell gives him some money to allow him to start a new life in a different town. Adam has the same actor as Robin from Young Dracula! He is the main character of a spin off show from Being Human called Becoming Human which I have yet to watch but I plan too after finishing the 3rd season of the show.

Being Human rant - Spoilers for season 3

I am currently watching season 3 of Being Human and I'm so annoyed that they made Annie and Mitchell a couple. One of my favourite things about the show was the friendship between George, Mitchell, and Annie. It was so wholesome especially in the first 2 seasons! The scene where Mitchell accidentally kisses Annie after trying to kiss her on the cheek was so cute. Its like people don't know men and women can be friends with eachother without having feelings for eachother ughhh

Young Dracula and Being Human

I think its funny how in Young Dracula Craig Roberts plays Robin, a human obsessed with vampires and desperately wants to be one while in Being Human he plays Adam who IS a vampire. I like to think of it as a continuation of Young Dracula, what happens to Robin after he leaves lol

Vampire of the day #6

The vampire of the day is Draculaura from Monster High!

Draculaura is one of the main characters in Monster High. She doesn't drink blood and is even scared of it.

She wasn't born a vampire, she was born a human. Her mother fell inlove with Dracula and sadly died to an illness. Draculaura had caught the illness and to save her life Dracula turned her into a vampire. In her past she had dated another vampire character in Monster High, Kieran Valentine an emotonal vampire who was day #1 btw. In the first generation of Monster High she dates Clawd Wolf, a werewolf and her bestfriends brother.

Vampire of the day #5

The vampire of the day is Yoko Tanaka from Wednesday!

In Wednesday the school Nevermore Academy is home to outcasts. There are different kinds like Psychics, Werewolves, Gorgons, Hydes, Vampires and many more.

Yoko is apart of the Nightshades society which is a secret society withing Nevermore that aims to make outcasts equal with normies.

Yoko has a girlfriend called Divina and was sadly only in the first season of Wednesday.

Vampire of the day #4

The vampire of the day is Vladmir Dracula from Young Dracula!

Young Dracula was a TV show from 2006 to 2014. It's about Vladmir here who was born in a vampire family moving to a town in the UK called Stokely fter his family got hunted out of their previous village. Although Vlad's a vampire, he wants to be a human. After moving into Stokely he meets a boy, Robin Branaugh, who is a human obsessed with vampires. They become best friends as they they try and live being hunted by their hard materials teacher Van Helsing. Young Dracula is a really fun show and has some amazing emo 2000s outfits. It also stars Gerran Howell most famous for his role as Dennis Whitaker in the pitt!

The best characters

The best characters in 2000s tv shows are always the ones who only appear in the first few seasons. When you just start watching you'd expect them to stay longer and then they just rarely show up again or are never spoken of again. Examples are like Robin Branagh from Young Dracula, Mark Brendanawicz from Parks and rec and then I'd say Karen from the Office. Does anyone else have any characters like this they can think of?

The vampire of the is Marceline from Adventure Time!

Adventure time is an iconic TV show and Marceline is one of the most popular characters! She is queer(yeahhh!!!) and has a girlfriend Princess Bubblegum. Marceline was born half demon half human and turned into a vampire after being bitten by the Vampire King. She then became the vampire queen of Ooo. She iconically plays the bass and has a male version in the genderbent Adventure time episodes called Marshall Lee.
