A few life lessons from Winter 2014
1) Don't spread yourself so thin. It's exhausting to be constantly moving on to the next thing, and you can't give each project 100% because you have too little time to devote to each task. You end up falling short and not reaching your potential. You end up making less meaningful connections with the people you are surrounded with because you are only with them for a short period of time and cannot fully dive into these new relationships.
2) Take time for yourself. Just taking a few moments to take a deep breath, do a few yoga poses, drink detox juice or tea, or cook a delicious meal for yourself is so helpful in rejuvenating your physical AND mental strength. Refresh yourself. Sometimes you just gotta press the refresh button. Take the few free moments you have to do so.
3) Do what YOU want. Don't let others have too big of an influence on what you do. Listen to the people who you love and respect, value their opinion, but in the end, do what suits you best.
To be continued.
