Translating and Clarifying a little on what happened in Chapter 28 of SIH
This post is pretty outdated but read if you must.
With the available spoilers and somewhat readable lines of chapter 28. Iād just like to clarify a little on what happened. Keep in mind, I donāt have the actual magazine, so Iām going off the pages that have been posted. So Takano said something like to RitsuĀ āMy house key. Do you still have it?ā and Ritsu replied yes and was trying to make excuses and got all embarrassed. I couldnāt translate all of it because the characters beside the kanji were too hard to read. Then Takano smiles and says for Ritsu to just come over whenever he likes (very cute).
I think the spoilers are a bit out of order, but I know Ritsu met up with Nao and Nao asked to stay in Ritsuās apartment for 4 days until he can settle down in his own (something about a contract). Ritsu hesitates to say yes and Nao told Ritsu that he only seeās faults in his relationship with Takano.Ā
The rain scene. They are both running in the rain and I donāt know how they ended up in the situation but Takano thinks itās funny (he said Nanka Ukeru ä½ćć¦ć±ć) āUkeruā means āto receiveā but usually when said by young japanese people, it means the person thinks that what they experiencing/receiving is funny. So Takano thinks the situation āIs kind of funnyā. Ritsu does not agree lol āThis is not funny!ā. Then Nao appears and reminds Ritsu about the apartment issue and notes that heās all wet and blah blah blah. Iām going to be doing a further analysis on this chapter, so I can try and translate it properly. Nao sayās something likeĀ āWell thatās thatā and sayās something along the lines ofĀ āStop bothering Ritsu, Saga-san. This was obviously said to piss off and tease Takano, especially with the use of his old name back in high school. A very sad time for Takano. Takano is obviously sick of him at this point.
The next scene is the the part we all hateā¦ Takano forcefully pulls Ritsu into his house.Ā āTakano-san!āĀ āWait, it hurts!āĀ āPlease let go of me Takano-saā¦.ā Takano throws Ritsu onto the bed and Ritsu proceeds to make excuses and explain himself, saying thatĀ āItās not like that!ā Honestly there was Kanji in there was a word in there that I didnāt know, and couldnāt find on the internet, so roughly Ritsu is explaining Naoās situation and sayingĀ āItās not like I love him or anything, heās just a friendā¦ā After he says that, I know Takano starts talking afterwards but thereās not spoilers for that part so I have no idea lol. But there is a close up of Ritsuās face as he tells Takano what Nao said to him about how he only seeās faults (he says demerits though) in a relationship between them. Takano got really angry at that and slammed his hand down next to Ritsu, making accusations such asĀ āThat person told you to end this so you would?ā (end their current relationship, stop contact or something). The rest was unreadable but I got that part. And Ritsu is continuously trying to tell Takano that he is wrong, but Takano isnāt hearing it. He keeps telling him to stop and Takano suddenly grabs his hands and tells him toĀ āCut it out already!ā (but in japanese this is also a way of telling someone to just stop it and listen). Takano has a sad look his eyes, and Ritsu notices this. Thenā¦ Takano proceeds to do sexual things to Ritsu, despite Ritsu telling him to stop. Takano sayāsĀ āItās unpleasant, but youāre erectā. In his mind Ritsu keeps repeatingĀ āYouāre Wrong. Youāre Wrong. Youāre Wrong.ā (about Nao)Ā
This was not like any other sex scenes in the manga. There was no sweet and loving kissing, and foreplay that usually comes with these parts. Instead, he just shoved it forcefully in despite Ritsu telling himĀ āTakano-san it hurts. Something like thisā¦ā and I could not read what Takano said but I know he saidĀ āWhyā and questioned Ritsu about something - Iām sorry ): Text cut off. The horrific scene continues with Ritsu sayingĀ āIām just always so uncertainā (about his relationship with Takano). Then they kiss a little, and Ritsu largely notes howĀ āThose eyes are the same eyes as back then. As back thenā¦ā (the same sad, lonely and longing look).Ā
It ends thankfully and Ritsu wakes up very confused.Ā āThatās right! Yesterday Takano-san..ā and then he sees the bruises on his wrists. Ritsu probably doesnāt even think much of it, but does kind of look sad when he sees them. He walks out into his main living area and observes that Takano isĀ ānot hereā and wonders if he went home. He sees that food Takano had prepared for him (at sometime) and there is a note,Ā āOnodera: You need to eat. Miso soup is in the pot.ā I donāt know what happened after that, but I can see a little through the page that Ritsu is texting someone (possible Takano or Nao). I hope he was apologising or asking if he was okay. But if he was, over text? Really? (got the raws and he was texting Kisa/Hatori :/)
The chapter ends with Ritsu repeatingĀ āā¦ā¦Takano-sanā¦ā¦Takano-sanā¦.ā and then we have 26 days till the end of the countdown.Ā

Honestly, this chapter made me feel physically and mentally sick. I havenāt been able to stop thinking about it. As I said before I might go into a more in depth analysis about it, but Iāll need to somehow find the time for that. In the mean time hereās a picture of Takano being loving to Ritsu. Remember this (: This is the definition of consensual love-making. Iām just heartbrokenā¦
