This blog will largely focus on my characters from my story, “The Air In My Lungs.” I will be posting art and perhaps sharing lore from it.

I don’t plan to have much of a posting schedule. I’ll post whenever I remember to and have the energy to. Also, asks are always open, but there’s no guarantee I’ll respond to them; invasive questions and hostility will be deleted and ignored.
My blog is intended for a 16+ audience. Not everything I post will adhere to a 16+ restriction, but as a general rule, I’m not interested in talking to people who are younger than 16 🤷♂️. I will not be posting or reblogging explicit sexual content here, but I like to explore darker topics in my work which aren’t necessarily child-friendly, and adults can request access to more strictly 18+ content.

Hello! You can call me Casey or Mieszko. I’m an artist and writer who loves horror, fantasy, and history, amongst other things. I’ve been drawing since I was a toddler, but I started to take my art more seriously in 2020, which is when I started digital art. Procreate is my main program, and I specialize in illustrative painted pieces, largely featuring my characters and their lore.

About “The Air In My Lungs”
“The Air In My Lungs” (“TAIML”) is a Faustian bargain story set in a darkly fantastical world. It is told through the format of journal entries and letters, written by a misanthropic warlock who makes a gamble for power and gets much more than what he bargained for. TAIML explores themes such as, but not limited to the following:
Violence/murder, cannibalism, limerence, codependent relationships, cycles of abuse, substance abuse, suicidal ideation & self-harm, religious trauma, and pro-natalism as horror.
It is a doomed narrative, driven by the fatal flaws of the three MCs:
This story is 16+, preferably intended for an 18+ audience.
