i was thinking about the scene when veronica asks lance if he can help her get a date with his “long haired friend” in refrence to keith and he begins stuttering all nervous and gets defensive. a lot of people interpret this scene as lance covering it up because he has feelings for keith and it’s #klance but what if instead it was lance covering up the fact keith is queer. it’s very contextually obvious keith is queer him being half galra and being treated differently being a metaphor for being queer he is heavily queer coded (even if it may of been unintentional) but either way lance wouldn’t be the type of person to put his friends he wants people to trust him and he cares to much about his friends to the point that homotron n1 keith kogane would even be protected from being outed so instead of telling his sister “sorry man he is gay” he got nervous and flustered trying to think of a way to protect his friend. it kind of adds a little more depth to the scene besides “haha klance” because i truly love klance but at this point in the story lance was a little to in love with allura.

one of my favorite galra headcanons is the fact that they would be terrible with their alcohol.

i often see people claiming the galra could out drink anyone, but that simply wouldn’t be true. alcohol is made from fermented fruit, and many species did not evolve to consume such things. the tolerance of alcohol is a genetic mutation that allows our body to handle toxins within fermented fruits.

with that said, i find it funny to imagine zarkon choking over a little glass of wine alfor offered him during dinner.

Me again in case my ask didn't get received: Saw and found your s8 review and knew you would not be happy about it especially when you mentioned farmer Lance (it's universally agreed Lance desveres better) so yeah s8 in a nice way... Is a stain that will never wash off the fandom

I didn’t realize until a while after finishing season 8 that Lance literally just became a Hispanic stereotype with the ending the show gave him AND IT PISSED ME OFF SO BAD. Like oh my fucking god they fumbled his character so bad with that, forget the barely half assed allurance IT’S THE FARMER LANCE ENDING THAT COMPLETELY FUCKED EVERYTHING FOR HIM. He was so passionate and driven and determined to be a pilot in the first season and when he finally got the opportunity to achieve his dreams he took it in stride despite the considerable hardships that came with it and he grew into his role and grew as a person as well (even though the show didn’t well. Show it very much. But i know it happened on account of me being the Knower). So yeah fuck the development team specifically for how they handled Lance i will never forgive them for that and i’m half convinced i should make a canon divergent post-war au just so i can give Lance what he actually deserves
