I had a big scare a couple days ago, my partner's poodle Tally collapsed while on a walk (after licking a puddle, so we think it mightve been antifreeze and immediately throwing up) and couldnt move for awhile.
we rushed her to the vet, and on the way i said a prayer for her to Flidais, and right afterwards she started being able to move (but still extremely floppy and lethargic). at the vet, everything came back normal, so they sent us home with charcoal. she started getting worse at home, losing liquid from both ends very violently. I said a charm over her (an éle), and left Flidais an offering of whiskey and tea. about 20 minutes after the offering, she started perking up and moving around, and was all better a few hours later.
I am so fucking thankful to Flidais. I have never had too much of a relationship with Her, but have thought I should, just to watch over Tally. Especially recently, after reading @foltchaoin's posts on Her daughters. I am glad I had had that thought, bc it made me turn to Her in times of need. I am so grateful for Her kindness and compassion, and I hope this can be the start of a good relationship between us
