is this what growing up is like
me at 14: wow, protagonists in media my age! how relateable!
me at 28: WHY ARE THERE SO MANY CHILD SOLDIERS? WHERE ARE ALL THE ADULTS? WHO LET THIS HAPPEN AND WHY ARE THEY NOT BEING PROSECUTED BY LAW WITHIN THESE FICTIONAL UNIVERSES
In the same vein:
Me at 14: oh protagonists that are 17-20-ish, they’re basically adults, right?
Me at 28: Oh my Gods you’re babies who left you in charge?!
Ariel: Daddy, I love him! Me at 14: Yeah, girl, you tell him! Me at 30:
Marnie in Halloweentown: I’m thirteen, okay? I’m practically grown up! I’m certainly old enough to make my own choices – right?
Me at 7: Right!
Me at 13: Right! …Well, okay, maybe not practically grown up, but still, right!

REVIEW: Kojie San Cleanser Toner Dual Action
I've been looking for good and affordable toners since it's a must in Korean beauty routines. I've already tried several toners from the Eskinol and Pond's line.
Eskinol's too harsh on my face. I bought the one in the yellow bottle since it's the one recommended for people with oily skin. Although it helped clean my face, it only made my skin produce more oil! Other down sides include: strong alcohol scent, has strong minty/cooling sensation that kind of stings on the skin. I also tried the Pond's toner, which was alright. It cleansed my face and did not make my skin sting. My skin was able to tolerate the alcohol content in this product.
This time, I tried the Kojie San Cleanser Toner Dual Action. I purchased mine from Watsons for only 68 Php. This bottle contains 60ml of the toner. There's a bigger bottle (100ml) that costs 79 Php. I purchased the smaller one since I just want to test if out first.
I honestly love the color of the packaging! It looks refreshing.
It says: Kojie San Cleanser + Toner, light solution derived from lend of natural ingredients that cleanses and moisturizes skin. This 2-in-1 formula contains Ginseng Extract and Rose Hip Oil know for its skin-firming ability that helps smoothen fine lines and wrinkles; it also helps revive tired and damaged skin, cleans blemishes and prevents dryness.
Ingridients: De-ionized Water, Ethyl Alcohol, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Glycerin, PEG-40, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate (and) Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Lactate, Fragrance, Menthol, Lactic Acid, Panax ginseng (Ginseng) Extract, Rosa canina (Rose Hip) Oil, Creatine, Allantoin, EDTA Pros:
Cleanses my skin
Makes my skin feel firm
Moisturizing
Tones the skin
Inexpensive
Cons:
Has this strong minty/cooling sensation that makes my skin feel as if it's burning! It's tolerable when I'm applying the toner in front of a fan. The wind eases the burning sensation.
Final Thoughts: This product does the job. It's just that I'm not really a big fan of the minty/cooling sensation upon applying any product on my skin. It makes my skin feel like it's stinging and burning. However, if you're a fan of the minty feeling (like my roommate when I was a freshman in college), give this product a go.
Would I repurchase? Probably not. Unless they're going to get rid of the aggressively cooling sensation, then yes. Haha! I'd give this product a 2.5/5.
Thank you for your time! Until my next review! -E
REVIEW: Céleteque DermoScience BRIGHTENING Eye Tuck plus Dark Circles Lightener
Hi, guys! I’ve been looking for eye creams over the past few months and luckily, I stumbled upon the Céleteque Eye Tuck plus Dark Circles Lightener. I’m an architecture major. So basically, eye bags come with the program. Haha! Good thing this is available almost anywhere- Watsons, groceries, department stores, etc. The 15mL white eye cream is contained in this white tube. I purchased this one at Watsons for 299 Php.
Front:
Céleteque DermoScience
Brightening Eye Tuck plusDark Circles Lightener withEyeseryl and Tetrapeptide Complex
dermatologist tested
ophthalmologist tested
non-comedogenic
hypo-allergenic
fragrance-free
Directions: After cleansing, gently dab on and spread Céleteque DermoScience BRIGHTENING Eye Tuck plus Dark Circles Lightener around the eye area using your index finger. Use everyday, in the morning and at night.
I’ve been using this product for a about four months now and I can notice that there are improvements on the area under my eyes. However, the changes are quite minimal. Once this product is applied, you might feel a tightening sensation on your under eye area. This doesn’t hurt or sting, though. I haven’t been using this everyday over four months, though. It’s because I tend to forget to apply it sometimes. Perhaps that’s why I can’t really see a major difference.
Can this be worn under make-up? I don’t see why not. But I’d rather just wear this on its own when I’m at home instead of wearing it under make-up. I usually wear a primer under make-up. Wearing anything else under make-up aside from a primer makes me feel cakey and greasy.
Would I repurchase? Probably not since I didn’t see major changes. I think the only thing that would cure my eye bags is sleep since that’s he thing I lack the most. Haha!
Compared to other eye creams, this one’s really inexpensive and would last for months. I’d give this product a 3/5! Not bad for 299 Php. ;) Thank you for your time! Until my next review.
