my birthday is in less than 2 weeks and i'm not sure how i'll be when i go out for food. i don't want to be the type to over-restrict to the point where i can't enjoy myself but i also don't wanna 'mess up' and then feel discouraged.

all i want is comfort from something but when i can’t get it from people or food idk what’s left honestly

i hate that i have to refrain from buying snack foods i enjoy because when i get the urge to binge eat and i have that in my place, i’ll just eat all of it

stop ignoring yourself. fix your posture, get a fresh haircut, drink water, take care of your skin, eat food that gives you energy, declutter your space, take time to rest, workout, do mindful meditation, fix your sleep schedule. when you feel/look good, you do good. invest in yourself, put the effort you deserve.

there’s something so strange about being ‘midsize’ because no one agrees on what it actually means. bigger than skinny, smaller than fat. i’ve never been skinny in my whole life but no one has ever called me fat before either.

if i mention to anyone that i want to lose weight they ask what weight? like c’mon it’s not invisible you’re playing dumb.

i think it could just be a sensitivity thing though, just trying to be nice— which i understand, but i’d like to be able to talk about it without having someone be entirely dismissive.
