‘ oh! lawton. felicity lawton. ’ at the pang of hunger in her stomach, felicity decided to not test her chances on stealing her sister’s rations, and instead opt for certainty --- even if it meant she’d be going hungry later that day when all hers were used up. ‘ don’ really talk much to them, you know, ‘bout the heat. better to keep your mind off it, helps us all out. ’ felicity was quickly growing sick of the other girl’s politeness --- ---- she’d expected to be in and out within a matter of moments, familiar eyes sweeping the list and checking her off --- --- but instead, she got a new girl seemingly infatuated with small talk. offering her a big smile, felicity stuck out one hand. ‘ though if you don’t know my name, i don’t feel quite so bad about not knowing yours. you are? ’
