So it was brought to my attention that @showmey0urfangs made another blocklist that featured me (I was too busy doing hot boy shit yesterday to care) but I have some time on my hands so why not add more context to it. So this is a screenshot that I’m assuming loustatlovesloumand took of me and seeing as how fangs outright admitted that they talk about me and a few other people in DMs and discord servers I think it’s safe to assume that someone sent it to them via discord or dms which is like…a very cringe thing to admit to doing but anyways 💀💀💀 this is what I said to loustatlovesloumand

So I do want to outright say that I do not care that I said this. Was it mean? Yeah it was very mean but I don’t care. The context behind me saying this though was because I posted this (x)

Now the first time I’ve ever heard of loustatlovesloumand was on a post where someone said that they had to block them due to loustatlovesloumand constantly going after them under their posts. That blog is known to go after people in the fandom to the point of harrassmet and they hoped onto my post that had nothing to do with them solely to annoy me and be condescending which I have no patience for. Edit: loumandloveslestat used to be lestatslosteye and they were notorious back then for being aggressive for no reason. Like what did you expect me to do? Kiss them with tongue? If you’re looking for a fight with me then I’m just going to hit you. Sorry. Again I have 0 patience with people who I know are there to do nothing but bother me. Even after I told them kys they hoped on ANOTHER post of mine to start some more shit with me and I promptly blocked them. Like they’re still going on under other people’s posts and being weird so wtf are you crying about?? 💀💀💀

I honestly don’t hate you just because you seek attention from and kiss up to the white people around you, I also hate you because you genuinely think that you’re the bigger person in this situation. There are some people in the fandom that have a strong speaker in the social media , yet they always say they are being shut down of what they want to say but as a Matter of a fact they say anything they want . if you pay attention, they are very judgmental and opinionated, and more active than others, tweeting and expressing whatever is on their mind... and unfortunately, here is the worst part. They don't allow opposite opinions to be expressed, they throw a fist or disrespect other people for what they think . That's not cool & it unfortunately exists mostly in the fandoms who have Black/white & power dynamic leads . It's upon us to behave wise & respectful towards each other because at the end of the day these vampires are just fictional characters. If you want to fight for Louis or Claudia or Armand because of the skin color you need to know that will just be an important characteristic complexity in only a season 1 & 2 . Because later in S3 & in modern times there will be less discrimination about that compared to S1 & S2 . And Louis will be much more free of that aspect . Louis's color skin is just one of the important layers of his character & there are so many more layers that you don't pay attention to purposely & you have just focused on one layer . As a vampire Louis has to deal with this because that's a human standard matter & we'll see how he does that & hew other layers will be more important.

How do you know that elements of racism will only be relevant in s1 and s2? For instance we still have to touch upon Armand’s backstory which includes him being a human trafficking victim and a sex slave. I’m pretty sure Marius is going to be played by a white man and if he is going to be as relevant in this adaptation as he is in the books then Marius having a brown man as his sex slave is not only going to spark more discussions of racism throughout the series but it will directly mirror Louis and Lestat’s relationship in certain ways.It seems like Anne Rice had the luxury of putting racism in her books whenever she wanted to but Rolin and his writers have to relegate proper discussions of racism to two seasons only.

Sorry to bring it up again but I can not stop thinking about the implications of that user saying, “If you have any problems or any questions contact me.” Who are you exactly, first of all? Second of all I’m 22 years old and I can think for myself. Third of all DMing me to rant to me about people talking about fandom racism when I talk about fandom racism on my blog and have been seeing and getting nothing but hate from the racists in the fandom is absolute insanity. It feels like someone legitimately telling me, “No no no you’re talking about racism now but I can pull you out of it and tell you what to think instead! Don’t let the woke mob get you fellow white person!” It screams cult.

When I say that the racism is out of control in this fandom I fucking mean it. I’m not going to leak this person’s username but I’m beyond disgusted with how far the people in this fandom will go to try to sell you on racism.

I’ve never talked to this user in my life and they thought it was okay to DM me to basically complain to me about how other people are talking about race too much in a show that talks about race. Apparently I’ve been put on a blocklist along with some other users with the majority of them being black and I have no fucking time for this. I’m done and I won’t be engaging anymore in this fandom. I was even excited to read QOTD but I’ve lost complete interest in the books now. It’s been nonstop hate and disrespect towards me ever since I came here and the racism (specifically anti-blackness) in the fandom is completely out of control. Let me repeat what I said in another post, this is the fandom has the worst case of racism that I’ve ever seen in any fandom that I’ve been in. Not “racism against white people”, racism against black people. It is absolutely fucking ridiculous that I even have to specify that in a fandom for a show that’s about a black man living in the Jim Crow Era. Thank you for everyone who was nice to me but I can’t take this. I have a full time job that I need to worry about and I don’t need extra stress in my life.
