And I’m back into my fitness/weight loss journey! This is about longevity and treating my body as a whole with love, not purely aesthetics. It’s been awhile since I last updated this blog but I’m ready to dust it off and get back into the groove of things again.
My goal for the rest of the year is to be consistent and being kind to myself. So here’s to embracing the ebbs and flows of this journey 💪🏽
hard work means nothing without consistency
Day 4 of my calorie deficit and WOW am I hungry lol. I think moving forward I’ll be adjusting my fiber intake so I’m fuller and more satiated because right now, I’m not feeling that way. It’s not horrible, just noticed that my body needs more with this new deficit. Is my body just adjusting to not eating my maintenance calories? I hope it evens out soon as this journey continues
Just started using My Fitness Pal to help me track my calories to stay within my calorie deficit! I’m excited to see the effects of this since I have about 10 more pounds to my end goal and I think with the app, it’ll help so much with keeping me focused and on track ☺️
My collection for Black is Beautiful.

Being intentional with myself and enjoying the journey. This entire year has been a true lesson in self love and self acceptance, one that I’m still actively working on. These last week or so I’ve gotten back into my fitness journey but also a new journey, the hardest part so far, my natural hair journey. I’m learning to love myself in my entirety and show up for myself in all areas, not just in my weight loss journey. Regardless of achieving a number on the scale, I need to love all that I am because at the end of the day, how I feel about myself matters more than outside opinions which I have been relying on this whole time. My weight regardless of size is beautiful and my hair regardless of it being in its natural state or not is beautiful. Here’s to loving and embracing change and growth 🌹
do yourself a favor, lock in.
