Wait, so if design apps closed on the 5th, but artists work from jul 5 onward- what's the turnaround time for the selection process? Normally I would expect something like that to take anywhere from weeks to months, but that doesn't make sense with the timeline that's been established so far. What's the situation?
(Behind you 100 percent regardless of the answer, I'm just deeply curious in what looks to be a really cool project :] )
the Lucente Mod Team ran into alot of roadblocks the past week which clashed with our apps ending.
To give proper notice of apps closing and promo time we're keeping the apps open until the 12th with a focus on world and enemy design.
After they close it will take at most a week to review and assign everyone, so the latest you will recive you email will be 19th.

Hello! I'm interested in applying for a Lucente artist position, but I don't have a google account to fill out the application form with. Are there any alternate ways to apply/reach you guys, or am I just out of luck for now? Good luck on the project and thanks so much for all the great stuff you guys do!

To address you issue the CQC team has decided to switch from a file upload to a text answer (which does not require a google account) for adding images .
Contributor app reviews have been taking much longer to review completely due to larger and larger contributor applications for each subsequent project we hold (thank you so much everyone!! /gen). So we are testing out a new application format which saves many hours of organisation for the mods o(〒﹏〒)o
A file upload question was originally one of these changes and we were unsure if it would affect anyone (as google accounts are very common). However as it's been brought up as an issue we’re happy change this aspect to be more accessible to contributors!
In summary, the form now no longer requires a google account to fill out!
