Wow a lot of people can’t handle a joke on stereotypes. I thought it was very funny considering all the men I know joke about killing/divorcing/cheating on their wives and lesbians are very thoughtful. Nor did I say that every lesbian/straight couple was like this. It was a JOKE. Ugh, people are such killjoys. Also that statistic about lesbians having the most amount of domestic violence is an inaccurate number as a lot of bisexual women were counted as lesbians and the research itself is old. Because I already deleted the post from my page and don’t want to deal with the discourse anymore I’m disabling asks. You killed the fun. Congrats.

Fun fact: Though being gay in the 40s sucked, being gay in the military was easier, and pretty common. There were apparently, at one point in time time so many lesbians in the military that when they tried to crack down on it, the girls wrote back and said “Look I can give you the names, but you’ll lose some of your best officers, and half your nurses and secretaries.” And they pretty much shut up about it unless you were especially bad at subtlety.
