I've never seen these before, and I know there's other flies out there that look like this. These little size 22 "watermelon floof Emergers" as I call them have been my secret weapon when nymphing all day no matter the conditions. They are tied with uni-thread 8/0w light Cahill on a dai-Riki size 22 #125 Emerger hook with a small glass seed bead. With a watermelon rubber leg as the body and br size copper wire by UTC for the rib. A little floof of poly yarn and instead of peacock hearl I use brite blend dark olive dubbing. It's easier and shines nice. All in all I love tying these and they have been helping me not get skunked! #flytying #flyfishing #colorado #midge #emergerflyfishing #flytyingjunkie
