Everything around you was dark, plain and filled with nothingness.
You couldnât remember a single thing, everything in the world was gone from your head except your own name.
Y/N, it was.
But now it was all gone.
Everything⊠Missing.
But why did you feel like you were placed in this emptiness for a reason? A purpose? Will you find your way out of it?
Will you ever get out of this madness?
Nothing else could be heard around you except the clanking noises of metal against metal, working machinery coming in contact with each other as you felt your whole world shake underneath your lying body. It resulted in loud ringings in your ears, that indescribable sound that seemed to ring on forever and ever without an end.
You had no idea where you were. You had no idea who you were.
It was just your weak body, laying flat on a cold mesh surface with eyes shut, pain flooding through your body and nothing but the accompanying noise to wake you up from your strange and everlasting deep sleep.
In a flash, your eyes shot wide open, blood shooting through your body as your brain starting powering, the network of nerves in your body sending you into shock which resulted in you sitting upright almost immediately.
You had never recognized this place. You have never seen it before in your entire life. You knew this place wasnât familiar, but something about it screamed âseen beforeâ in your head.
Your head turned to all different directions, looking beside you at the four walls which formed a square shaped room, illuminated by a small faint yellow lamp that swung from side to side above your head. One of the walls in particular had caught your eye, two set of metal clamps jammed shut together which almost looked like doors of some sort.
The place was giving you nightmares once your head turned to the writings on the wall which you had never noticed until you paid attention to it. Written in red ink, the color of blood almost, was the words âdeathâ, âsinsâ and âdemonsâ in bold lettering, painting the three walls aside from the wall with the door.
It wasnât to your liking, the room you woke up in began to feel darker and darker once you noticed gruesome things appearing around you. Bloody handprints were painted near the door, red seeping from above the cracks of the little room as it ran down the side, dripping slowly.
In one corner of the space you had, you were almost about to throw up when you saw what looked like cut up intestines and organs stashed into the corner like a pile of rubbish. Those organs alone gave the most disgusting smell youâd ever smelt before after realising they look fresh and still had some red blood on them as well.
Still in your weak state, you picked yourself up, pushing yourself onto your feet with your dirtied hands as you stood up, realising your clothes you wore were ripped, all in black and had some stains in them. They didnât seemed to be washed at all, much of the stench lingering around your nose.
âWhere the fucking hell am IâŠâ You murmured, letting out a loud groan of pain when you felt your left leg jolt in shock, making you grab your balance on the railings of the wall and stumbling over.
âWhat is this placeâŠâ You wondered, looking around you further after you noticed the flash of red light shining into your eyes.
Before you could answer more questions, the room you were in had suddenly dropped, your feet lifting off the ground for a split second when the red flashing light came to a stop. Trying to comprehend the situation and on the verge of eliminating all your stomach contents, you looked above the door and noticed a set of words appearing on this strip of machinery, flashing brightly in your eyes.
âYouâve awoken.â A voice boomed through an unknown source. It made you jump in shock as you shuffled to your feet and look at the words on the strip which had spelt exactly what the unknown voice had said.
âWeak, tired, pathetic peasant.â The voice, almost as deep as a maleâs snickered, addressing those words towards you.
âWhere the hell am IâŠâ You answered back, snapping at the voice as you tried to seek for the source of the sound.
âThat information is not for your knowledge. You should only learn what is important, Kim Y/N.â
âHow do you know my name⊠Who are you!?â You yelled, veins popping from your neck as you yelled at the voice booming at you. You were angry, but terrified at the same time.
This person was speaking to you, messing with your head as you tried to look for them, knowing your name, calling you pathetic and a fool and yet you still had no idea who they were, who you were and where you were.
âThat, Kim Y/N is for you to find out for yourself. Youâre not put in here for no reason.â
You felt yourself stumble from side to side, getting harder to keep yourself up straight and on your feet when you felt your nausea kick in, leaning over a railing and finally getting rid of your stomach contents from inside onto the floor beside your feet.
It kept on going, the sick feeling inside you eating its way out as all you could do was throw up everything you had onto the floor and be left with it there with the smell of blood, fresh organs and other components mixed in with it.
It was gruesome, stuffed into a compact space with nothing but yourself, a faint yellow light from the ceiling, disassembled body parts and a voice talking to you that was making you insanely crazy.
It wasnât long before your vomit stopped pouring out of you, brushing away your saliva off the corner of your lips as you breathed heavily, a flood of thoughts rushing through you head by the minute as nothing but the sound of hard metal and the moving room filled up the little space.
âGet me out of here⊠Get me outâŠâ You could only spurt out in short breaths, on the verge of collapsing to the floor again when the voice boomed and the small box above the door began spelling words in red LED lights.
âYou were put in here for a reason, Kim Y/N. There is only one way out of this place but it wonât be easy for a fool like youâŠâ
âJust get me out, dammit!â
âWith the result of a price. If you want to get out of this place, then you must obey the rules to get what you want, but it pays a lot of your fortune.â
âAll I want is to get out of here, I want to leave this place, stop torturing meâŠâ You let out desperately, dropping onto the floor and collapsing onto your side, leaning your head against the blood coated mesh floor.
âThen your command will be granted if you wish to accept the rules of your escape route. As said, Kim Y/NâŠâ
âItâs not easy.â
You thought about it for a few moments, the time ticking inside your head. To be precise, you had no idea what time it was as well. How long did a second last? Was there time in the first place? It all was gone and all you could think of in that small moment was your escape, an exit, your road to freedom to get out of that hell you were in.
âIf itâs going to get me out of this freaking hell, then Iâll do it, Iâll do it if it means I get out of here aliveâŠâ
With that sentence said, you heard the voice chuckle, a short laugh blasting into the small room.
âA very wise choice.â They said in approval. âAs you have now granted your wish, you shall begin your escape. It all starts with the push of a button, Kim Y/N.â
You were wondering what they were suggesting, but you didnât care the littlest bit. Nothing mattered to you more then than to escape out of that place and to leave unharmed, to get out of there and wish it never started ever again.
Before you knew it, a new source of light shone in the corner of your eyes from the faint light, a flashing bulb of red illuminated beside the two metal doors.
It was that very moment in time, you finally realized where you were, what you were doing and what your whole purpose was. You recognized that beam of red light somewhere before, you knew where it came from, but you didnât think youâd find yourself stuck inside one playing a death game.
The new light that had illuminated was the words, âLevel 1â in red and a small button beside it. You had never noticed it before, but underneath that button, was yet another 9 set of buttons with their own level running down underneath each other. Above was the Level 1 one button was the word, âHELLâ in all bold letters.
A new memory was regained in your mind, everything was slowly being pieced back together again as you picked yourself onto your feet and stumbled to the button step by step. You had no other choice. It was now or never. Live or die. That button was your only escape route if you wanted to get out of there.
You were stuck in an elevator, you knew it, and it was just you, the button and the metal door now. Without hesitation, you took in a deep breath to recollect your thoughts, closing your eyes for a moment before your finger was in contact with the button.
With a faint beep, the button turned a brighter red as you felt the ground beneath you sink, dropping a few heights before stopping at what you believed to be, âLevel 1â.
âYou signed a death wish, Kim Y/N. Remember what you have been put in here for. Your only challenge here is to simply survive.â
âWelcome, to the Hellevator.â
Without waiting, the metal door in front of you opened wide, greeting you with a room of pitch black and darkness as you took a step out the elevator. It wasnât long before your journey would start, and youâd find yourself beginning your escape out.

You were one of those types of people who wasnât interested in relationships and dating.Â
Finding a loved one while you studied at your school was never your first priority.
It was so common nowadays to find one of your best friends or plenty of your class mates from science and maths class to walk around the campus grounds with arms linked with another guy. Whether they walked through the corridors hand in hand, leaning against the wall with one earbud in each ear, or a small peck on the lips youâd catch in your corner of your eye, most, if not all of the people you knew were in a mutual romantic relationship with somebody else.
Many of your friends have considered putting you up in a blind date in hopes of finding the right person for you although you gladly objected. Theyâve always wondered why you didnât want to date anyone, if not for a fact, many guys at your school had wanted to talk to you, only to realize that you werenât interested in getting a boyfriend yet.
You werenât the idealist of girls. You had your flaws here and there and didnât hesitate to show those who wished to get you to tell them that they were wrong and need to pick a better woman. You were a little introverted, you were pretty great at most things and you wouldnât consider yourself the highly educated one.
One of your worst flaws would be your clumsiness. Whether you tripped and flung your books out of your hands, trying to carry a load of paper only to drop them in the campus fountain, you were trouble but no one would really believe it behind that innocent face of yours.
If anything, if you were to search for the perfect guy, nothing could beat the odds of an intelligent, gentle, caring, handsome and happy guy. Anything below that, if they fought a lot with people or misbehaved many times, they were immediately checked off your list.
You just didnât think you were ready for that ideal man of yours to fall in love with a less than perfect madame if it ever came to be despite your high expectations never being reached.Â
There was indeed one of those guys in your school, roaming around the corridors with a blank gaze and dark clothes as if to put of the âbad boyâ image. Many girls loved him, but he treated them like a pile of trash.
It basically meant he was single as well.
You couldnât help but doze your restless mind into a sense of peace and calmness, resting your chin on the palm of your hands, only to get a set of snapping fingers in front of your face bring you to reality.
You shook your head, looking around before finding your class mate and best friend Chaerin snickering and letting out a deep sigh.
âYou keep daydreaming like a fool Y/N.â She protested, as if lecturing you like a teacher. âItâs like youâve been sent to a fantasy land and found your love at first sight.â
âDonât be crazy, I was just really tired and needed some rest and that was all I got.â You told her back, placing your soft and smooth hands on the table in front of you and brushing your thumbs against one another.
She happily joked, giving you an, âI-know-what-you-were-thinkingâ look and playfully slapped your shoulder.
âDonât play sassy on me Y/N. I know you were definitely thinking of something and someone so you canât hide behind your crab shell forever.â She gave a small smile of mischief. âI know what you were thinking and donât hold back.â
âNo, you donât. I told you before and a million times more, I have no interest with anyone and I will not be set up in one of your blind dates again. I said to basically everyone in the school that I can only begin to date someone only after I graduate.â
Chaerin settled back on the backrest of her chair and pleaded like a little child. âCome on! Graduation is so far away! You need to get a boyfriend already!â
âLook Chaerin, Iâm not going to deal with boys again and I will repeat, I will NOT date anyone only until the end of graduââ
You raised your finger at Chaerin and stared into her eyes with a fierce look of frustration, only for the school bell to ring across the campus and stop your conversation mid-way.
Without a chance to finish your sentence as soon as the bell went, you heard a loud shriek or a bundle of screams of some sort roaring through the corridors closes to the table you sat at. Watching in horror along with Chaerin as a stampede of girls ran to crowd a certain student, they screamed out their name, attempting to get closer to them as they made their way through with the exception of females crowding the whole place. It almost felt like a concert, noises thrashing everywhere like fan girls as they followed the person.
âChangbin! Youâre so handsome!â
âIâll give up my boyfriend for you!â
âYou are so talented, youâre so handsome, I think Iâm going to die!â
âMarry me Changbin! Iâll cook for you, love you, Iâll do anything to be with you!â
âIâm right here Changbin! Notice me!â
Watching as they all followed him through the corridor, with all the loud noises and voices of the females screaming into your ear, you knew exactly who it was that they were following.
Seo Changbin, that âbad boyâ you were mentioning before.
Losing your focus on the crowd of girls, you shook yourself awake when you notice Chaerin began to pack her stuff away and head to her locker, you looking up and grabbing your things behind her.
âTheyâre pretty desperate to be with such an ignorant guy like him,â You could only mutter underneath your breath, walking to your locker beside Chaerinâs and unlocked it, only to have a mountain full of books fall right onto your face.
Crashing to the floor and regaining your senses, some students who were retrieving their items for their class giggled and laughed at you on the floor, making you look at Chaerin who could only giggle softly at your face on impact as she bent down to help you pick up your books.
âAnd thatâs why you donât bad mouth handsome people.â She sniffed and grabbed a mound full of your books, stuffing it safely into your locker as you could only let out a shy chuckle. You rubbed your nose in pain and picked up the remaining books, pulling out your history books for class later before closing your locker.
âHeâs not that handsome to me, heâs just a show off and doesnât look too good in school. I mean, he wears dark colours all the time underneath his school uniform and he has this grim expression on his face 24/7.â
âIâm not to keen about that, but you say what you wanna say. Heâs still single you know so he may be your future husband.â Chaerin let out a sneaky smirk in the corner of her lips as you furrowed your eyebrows, grasping your books in your arms.
âIt seems like this is where we depart. Iâll be off now Chaerin!â You could only answer to her, waving to her with a grin as she smiled and waved back, heading in the opposite direction to your classroom as her back turned towards you.
Letting out a general sigh, you couldnât help but feel a bit lonely walking by yourself towards your class. Step by step, youâve almost yearned for company ever since people started to get their boyfriends and girlfriends. If not for such a surprise, all of them were paired up with each other for every class. With the tap of your shoes clapping against the tiled floor, you were met with the door of your history class, opening it wide and being greeted with a bunch of familiar faces.
Behind all of those recognizable faces was one you had never wished to see.
Seo Changbin.
âIâd like you all to make sure the notes you have taken are placed in a good spot. Please donât lose those notes as they will help you a lot in the upcoming test that will happen in the next month or so.â Your history teacher, Mr. Lee had explained to the class as soon as the bell had gone and students were already up to pack their things.
As a small smile grew on the corners of your peach coloured lips, you closed your books and packed them into a neat pile with your pencilcase and other belongings, leaving them on your desk as you began to pull out your phone to text Chaerin.
CutieChu: Will you be free at 2:40?
Holychae: I donât think I can today. Jisung planned on taking me to the nearest cafe earlier after school so I wonât be able to meet you. Iâll meet up another time, maybe next week
CutieChu: thatâs alright I guess. Im a little occupied today so I probably wont make it either
CutieChu: See you next week!
Holychae: bye~
Within a few seconds, Chaerin had replied with the most expected response you knew you wouldâve gotten. Chaerin had a close relationship with her boyfriend Jisung and she never spent time with him a lot. You known about the distance between them after she told you whether or not to break up to spent more friend time, but you knew that her love for him meant a lot more than your friendship bond.
Slipping your phone into the pocket of your skirt, you noticed only a few students staying in to copy their notes on the board or to chat for a few minutes before heading for home. It was spacious but otherwise, only a few intended to stay for the time being.
Grabbing hold of your books and pencil in the other hand, Mr. Lee had stayed for a little while before leaving.
âIâd like everyone but Changbin and Y/N to stay inside the class please.â
With all the remaining students who were talking to each other finally exiting out the classroom, you were in utter shock when your history teacher had called out your name along with your long time distant classmate.
You placed your books on the desk, in absolute shock as you glanced over at where Changbin was sitting. With his back resting on the chair, legs crossed over the top of his desk, he pressed his fingers on his phone screen multiple times as if he was texting someone.
It was hard to imagine a good person from his image. His dark clothing was worn everywhere, his black hair ruffled to look messy and untouched, the way he sat in class the whole time writing in his small note book to make it look like he was studying was making your first impressions on him a lot more frightening.
âI know what you are thinking Y/N.â Mr. Lee chuckled, snapping you out of reality when you turned to him and noticed a smile on his face.
âYouâre not in trouble of any kind. You have done absolutely nothing wrong to get yourself here.â
âWhy am I staying back?â You could only asked up quietly, seeing that it was just you, Changbin and Mr. Lee listening to your voice. If you had spoken in a higher tone, you could tell that Changbin would look down on you and left the room because he didnât want to here your ignorance.
You watched as he peered over at Changbin for a few seconds, before turning to you.
âI kept you both in here because as per usual, we have a new list of students who need to stay back every class for that week to clean up the classrooms. Seeing that it is indeed Friday today, we need a new list of students and it turns out that both of you will be cleaning the room for today and next week.â
Without thinking, your mouth opened wide at the words he had spoken to you, jaw dropping in disbelief as you had forgotten about the clean up duty students.
You had to be paired with him.
Mr. Lee didnât hesistate to smile at you both before walking towards the tall locker in the back of the room, pulling out his keys and opening the doors to reveal two tall broom sticks, two mops, two pairs of gloves and some sponges.
âHere are the equipment. So Iâll be leaving you both to it, and I know you both will do a great job at this. Iâll return to this room to see if itâs spotless within 20 minutes.â
With that being said, Mr Lee turned to both us with deadpanned expressions on our faces as he nodded in approval, opening the classroom door and leaving, closing it behind him.
Obviously worked up in the current situation you were in, you couldnât help but sigh loudly, pulling out your chair and let your face slump down right on the surface of your table.
âI was paired with him⊠the schoolâs bad boyâŠâ
Getting right into work, you didnât want to waste time and immediately thought about home, keeping your hopes up and lifting your head off the table. Before you could stand up to head towards the open locker for the cleaning equipment, youâre eyes landed on Changbin who was still in his seat, texting as usual and often writing in his notes, growling roughly with earbuds stuck in his ears.
âGuess heâs not cleaning. Extra minutes for me, I guess.â You sarcastically cheered yourself in a whisper tone in hopes of not letting Changbin hear you over the music in his ears.Â
Shaking his head to a constant beat, you stood up from your seat and walked over to the equipment, grabbing only one of the brooms in the locker before closing it, starting your clean up and turning around, only to be faced with contact almost like a broad chest.
âSorry, I just thought, you mightâve gotten the broom for meâŠâ You heard a masculine voice deeply apologies to you. You looked up and widened your eyes at the sudden appearance of Changbin where you accidentally bumped into his chest earlier, out of his seat and apologizing with an empty expression.
âA-Ah, sorry about that, I didnât think youâd be cleaning with meâŠâ You looked down and shuffled around him, making him question your move.
âDid you think I would leave the classroom and ditch you here while you clean by yourself?â For the first time, you looked up and noticed Changbin chuckling lightly at your cute reaction to his question.
He seemed almost like a totally different person.
As the colour red began rushing up to your cheeks, Changbin smiled and pulled out the earphones and stuffed them into his pockets before grabbing a broom.
So he wasnât listening to music at all⊠He was just pretending.
âSo, what are you waiting for?â He asked, looking at you with these soft beady eyes that you had never seem from him, almost so mesmerizing to look at as you stayed silent for a few seconds gazing into his complexion before nodding in shyness.
There was an uncomfortable silence between the two of you, you were in one side of the room brushing up the dirt and dust particles into one pile while Changbin was in the other brushing the rocks and paper balls rolled onto the floor and into the bin. Expecting a foul language conversation from him of some sort of a snarl and him dropping his broom in frustration, he seemed to just keep his concentration on the cleaning, never going rough with the equipment around the room and brushing off any dust like a gentle touch of a paw.
He was almost treating everything like a baby, a fragile thing that shouldnât be harmed in any way. The way his actions had surprised you completely, you instantly regretted thinking of him differently, as the boy who would steal girlâs hearts and trash them later or to treat girls like slaves and do the work for him.
It wasnât long before you noticed Changbin seeing you space out and looking at him with gentle eyes, he stopped mopping the floor and looked at you with concern. Although you didnât realise being in such a dazed state, Changbin walked over to you and waved his hands in front of your face.
âUmm, hello? Is earth communicating with you? Y/N to earth?â Changbin waved his hands in front of your vision, only for you to snap into reality with surprise at finding Changbin unbelievably close to your liking, making your fall back and slip under your own foot.
âChangbin!â You could only let out a cry as you felt yourself fall down and get in contact with the ground, noticing him widening his eyes in shock and dropping his mop.
Thinking that your head with come in contact with the floor made you surprised when you felt a hand go underneath them and hit the floor instead of you. Gaining your senses back after your clumsy performance, you tried to pick yourself up, only feeling a heavy weight keep your down on the floor.
Without noticing, Changbin arose from your body, letting his hand continue resting underneath your head as he looked at you with worry and concern. It was a side of his image that made him so different.
âO-Oh my goodness, a-a-are you alright Y/N?!â He let out a cry, looking at you with concern.
âI-Iâm fine right now, Iâm not hurt.â You stuttered, immediately sitting up and looking into his eyes that looked deeply at yours.
âIâm sorry I scared you earlier, you just spaced out and I tried to get you back to reality until you suddenly slipped.â He confessed and helped your sit up, resting his hands on your back and caressing them lightly. âI shouldnât have done that, you couldâve hurt yourself very badlyâŠâ
âC-Changbin⊠Iâm fine right now, you donât need to worry about me.â You reassured him, getting up and using the table as support, picking up his mop and passing it to him.
You watched as Changbin looked at you worryingly and had these puppy dog eyes as if he knew you didnât mean it.
âIf you need the nurse, I can help youâŠâ
âPlease Changbin, I was just staring at you for too loââ You quickly covered your mouth as soon as you realised what you said.
âYou were staring at me?â
Immediately shaking your head, you tried to take back what you meant but it only resulted in him giggling it out like a little cute child.
âI didnât think youâd be interested in me for someone who doesnât want a boyfriend until they graduate.â
You froze for a second and noticed him winking at you before resuming his mopping.
âI-I-I ummmâŠâ You tried to find some way to get him out of it.
âItâs okay. You may as well tell me now so then I can see if I have a chance or not.â
Looking at him with confusion, you only understood what he meant when you backed away and saw him face look at the ground with his hands rubbing his nape.
âW-WaitâŠâ You stuttered. âYou like me?â
Changbin lifted his chin and looked into your eyes with sincerity. You noticed them, the way they glittered suddenly, the beauty they had in them that you never noticed before. His smile even, it was perfect.
âIâve liked you for awhile now. You seeâŠâ Changbin began to blabber, turning his back to you and mopped the floor while he talked.
âWeâve been in the same history class for the past year now. Itâs easy to notice you because you seem so different from everyone else in the class that youâre so distinguishable. You shine from all the other girls that try to get my attention. I donât talk to those girls because of one reason.â
âI want to talk to you more.â
As you were listening to him speak, you dropped your mop out of your hand in pure astonishment.
âI-I-I just didnât know whether or not you would accept me for the person I am because I wear dark clothes all the time or the fact that Iâm so expressionless and empty when I walk around. I just feel so lonely and I only got to smile a little when I saw you.â
âChangbinâŠâ You muttered his name, making him look up at you.
âYou couldâve told me all of this before I got to know you, I was scared to talk to you, even look at you because you were so different from everyone and you looked like someone who could ruin a girlâs life if they ever had a relationship⊠It should be my fault I doubted youâŠâ
You looked down at your feet, twirling the sole of your shoe on the tiled floor as you waited for his response.
âIâm sorry I didnât get to make you feel welcomed.â
You didnât get time to think properly when you noticed a pair of shoes in front of yours and two arms wrapped around your body tightly, bringing you closer to their chest.
With your head close to his heart, you listened as his heartbeat was pounding roughly, almost at an inhumane pace as you tugged your arms around his waist.
âThatâs how much my heart is beating for you right now. Itâs hard to describe so this was all I could doâŠâ
You closed your eyes and immersed yourself in the deep hug, feeling Changbinâs hands rest on your hair and patting it softly.
âSo, will you forgive me for being so distant from you?â
âOf course Changbin, youâve become a new person.â You smiled and pulled away, taking a look at his smile.

Another minute ticked past, the time illuminated by the LED lights from the station power shown on the screen above you indicating that the darkened night had just become 11:57PM.
It was cold, frosty, much of the cold air from the snowy atmosphere beyond the train tracks brushing against your skin, giving you deep shivered to travel down your spine and body. Despite your body covered in layers of coats, scarves, leggings and soft pair of boots and earmuffs, nothing could ever cure you from the defeating coldness of Canada.
11:58PM.
The time was ticking past, slowly but quickly at the same time, the day was almost about to end. Sitting on the wooden bench, creeping forward, closer and closer off the edge of your own seat, you could only glance left and right at each end of the train tracks hoping to spot two flashing light sources coming closer towards your direction. It was only a hope but you didnât know if it would ever come at all.
Your phone that was slipped into your pocket was yanked out of the coat, the home screen opened to show the weather at almost -24 degrees. You couldnât survive in this winter season with all of your clothes from your closet on.
You took this time to check your messages. Opening the first and latest conversations in your chat, you scrolled through the endless supply of texts from a specific someone, messages that seemed to delight you heart in so many ways until you came to a stop on one.
âIâll say the two words when I meet you at the train station. Wait for me ok? Im going to be there on time just to see you Y/N. You wont celebrate it without me.â
You let out a sigh, closing your phone and slipping it into your pocket as the cold puff of smoke left your smoke into the frosty air.
There was no train. He wouldnât come.
11:59PM. One minute would go and the day you called it as yours would have to be left at an end.Â
Beside you was your backpack and a warm thermal bottle with some hot water in it in case you really needed too save yourself. You desperately wanted to get warm quicker, but you couldnât wait for the one guy you love the most to wrap you up in a bundle of hugs, but the train wonât make it. You werenât a patient person.
âHeâs not going to come anyways... What was I thinking...â You said to yourself, standing up and picking up your things as you disposed of a cupcake wrapper you had earlier that night and a melted candle.
With shoes tapping against the concrete floor, you were making your way over to your car, making sure to slide your train card into the machine before leaving, only to get the thrill of your life when you heard the exact words on the intercom speak throughout the train station.
The Train, Vancouver to Toronto, has reached its destination.
It was that very moment, where the platform you were standing on, completely isolated with not a single person beside you using the platform got washed with a passenger train slowing down to its destination which was where you were.
Doors opening.
As you heard the steaming sound of the train doors sliding open, your consciousness took in the recognition and you turned around slowly.
There he was. Standing there, taking one step off of the train floor and taking foot onto the cold concrete platform. He was there. He kept his words.
That very moment he had taken off, the train doors closed behind him, steam pumping loudly as the intercom stated that the train would be leaving. In just a few seconds, that very train had taken off in the other direction, hoping to reach the next place.
You looked up, right at the gaze of the other person as their eyes sparkled, staring into your own from a far away distance using the moonlight as a beautiful source to shape the outline of his face.
It was perfect, it was him.
With a smirk and hands tightly grasping his bass guitar case, he smiled brightly and spoke.
âI told you I wouldnât miss out, didnât I?â
With that line said, your yelled and dashed off towards him, jumping into his arms and letting him catch your fall as his warmth, his embrace, everything about him had made you feel a lot safer in an instant. His cologne, his flawless hair, the soft touch of his skin, that voice.
You missed it.
âI thought I would never see you today,â You mumbled and broke the hug to look deeply into his eyes, the same one that sparkled.
âI kept my words didnât I? Iâm not missing out now.â
You brought your hands over to his cheeks, taking off your gloves to use your warm hand and touch his smooth skin over it. It was cold from the bickering weather, pale and almost white, but something about your warmth made him feel better as he came to touch his hands with yours and let out a soft and soothing sigh.
âAm I allowed to say it now?â He asked, and with your permission, you nodded.
âHappy Birthday Y/N.â He whispered softly before leaning forward and taking in your lips, feeling the moment as the clock chimed 12AM right after his words. Closing your eyes and feeling his warmth on your body, you placed your hands on his hair as all you could think about in this world was just him and him alone.
this used to be dyounqhyun also known as jungkook-peaches-and-cream (wtf).
If you happened to follow me because of my retweets, kpop one shot fanfics, any of the following or because I know you in real life, then badabing badaboom this bitch is still breathing after three years and BLOSSOMED LIKE A FAKE HOUSEPLANT.Â
Iâve been alive this entire time truth be told, but I never gave yâall a formal ending once I disappeared from the face of this earth back in 2017 and never spoke about it (really sorry bout that if you were expecting more content from me).Â
I since moved to a new tumblr account (and 210% more active on that one) using a different email and literally forgot that this email linked to this account existed. Tbh, the only thing I remembered on this account was actually my Young K Smut which I have Vietnam War flashbacks of because I donât like my 3 year old written content.Â
But since I am alive and reactivated this monstrosity that is my old memories kept in the hellish depths of pre-tumblr [REDACTED] ban, I have since changed a looooooooooooot about my interests, what internet content I post, what kind of things I do for a living and what shit Iâm currently up to now that could possibly be even shittier than âchatoyism-three-years-agoâ.Â
Basically, Iâve changed tremendously over the course of my disappearance act that flourished three years ago and Iâve since reappeared and didnât get a clap for it (its ok my audience consists of a turkey that gobbles anyways).Â
So, if any of you guys that are still alive with me and are reading this right now, all in all, Iâm gonna use this abandoned trash that I didnât want to see for awhile and make it more trashier by posting fanfictions that I had YET to post or wrote within the three year span I disappeared in.Â
Like I said, I have since changed a lot about the content I like and I did actually post fan fiction outside of tumblr until I retired from writing earlier during this sHITTY YEAR CALLED NONO SIDEWAYS.Â
If you guys want to ask any questions about me, want to know anything in particular about what I have been doing while I was gone and or just wanna talk, hit me up in the ask submissions box and Iâll answer them ASAP!Â
Imagine that, once, instead of Loki faking his own death, he and Thor faked Thorâs death. Loki using his magic to hide Thor in plain sight. But to you and all of Asgard, the soon to be King of Asgard is dead. You mourn and Loki helps you through it, being conflicted about his inability to tell even you about this long con for the greater good. You have your suspicions, until Loki starts to really mourn with you.
Request:Â Hi! Can I maybe ask for a Loki imagine with maybe flashbacks of life before the events of Infinity War and then after? Where Loki and the reader fall in love through several circumstances and then everything falls apart? Super angsty please. I'df it followed the movie plot, but you can change it up if youâd like! đ
A/N: I use this GIF too often.
Please donât plagiarize my work - I spend a lot of my time writing, copying and pasting destroys that. If you want to repost my work. please ask first - but even then I might say no.

You were his sun and he was your moon. There werenât too people more made for each other. Loki often believed that you were the one thing that could fill the hole within him. The hole that was dark and mischievous and all things evil.
Heâd never change. You didnât him to change. Not in a million years. Your God of Mischief was just that - the God of Mischief, and youâd never expect him to change his ways for you. Never you. But you did help guide him, showed him right from wrong. It didnât always mean that Loki listened. More often than not, he didnât.
But you still tried. Because he was Loki. Youâd always try.

It was pathetic. Loki felt pathetic. Jealous of his brother? Never.
Still, he couldnât help the fire that burned in his eyes every time he saw you laugh by his brotherâs side. Or the way you smiled. Loki felt the pit in his stomach grow larger and larger by the minute every time your hand fell on Thorâs shoulder. It was soft, gentle touch - one, that, if Loki had been thinking correctly, was nothing more than a friendly touch.
But Loki didnât see that. All he saw was how happy you looked by his brotherâs side, and how the twinkle in your eyes never seemed to fade. Life long friend of both princes, and of course youâd chosen Lokiâs brother. His better, stronger, braver, chivalrous and sought-out brother.
Thor had everything. Why couldnât he just have this one thing? Why couldnât he just have you?
Then, your sparkling eyes met Lokiâs and even for just a second, your attention was brought elsewhere. You smiled over at Loki, raising your arm in a wild gesture as you tried to call the boy over. Loki wanted to, but not with Thor. So instead, he promptly ignored your wave and turned the other way.
The moment you noticed his coldness, you frowned. Excusing yourself from Thorâs side, you all but ran over to Loki, just barely managing to catch up with him.
âHey,â you called, slightly out of breath. âI called for you. Why didnât you come over?â
Loki just shrugged, and you frowned. Taking a step forward, you let your hand fall on Lokiâs shoulder, much like you had with Thor, only to be brushed off. Most people wouldâve turned and left, it wasnât unlike Loki to push away others. But you knew better. So, instead you only caught up with him, once again, clasping your hands behind your back with a wide grin.
âWhat are you so happy about?â Loki grumbled, lips curved into a pout.
âBecause,â you giggled, âI know something you donât.â
Lokiâs jaw clenched;Â âand, what about that be?â
âI canât tell you! Itâs a secret,â you teased, before wrapping your arms around Lokiâs. âNow, shall we go for a walk through the gardens?â
Loki remained silent.
âIâll take that as a yes.â

âI just donât understand why he would do this.â
Thor frowned, head bowed with a creased marked in his forehead. âItâs true,â he nodded, solemnly. âLoki did what he did.â
You furrowed your brows, âbut Midgard? All those peopleâŠâ A hand fell against your chest in worry, before glancing up at Thor, eyes watering. âThis just doesnât make any sense.â
âItâs true.â Thor nodded, âLoki has been charged of treason. He will spend the rest of his life in that cell.â
You paused, words caught in your throat. There was so much you wanted to say, but couldnât - this didnât seem right. Why would Loki do something like this? âAm I allowed to at least visit him?â
Thor visibly flinched;Â âOdin said that you, specifically, were not allowed.â
âWhat?â You cried, eyes widening. âThatâs ridiculous! I have every right to see Loki as you do!â
Thor grabbed ahold of your arms, sending you a pitiful look. âIâm sorry, Y/N.â
You pulled yourself from his grasp, eyes narrowing. âNo!â You bellowed, shaking your head widely. âYouâre wrong. You must be wrong, Loki must have not known what he was doing. He-â
âY/N,â Thor interrupted, âI saw him. I fought him! He⊠He knew what he was doing.â
You only shook your head, stepping back. âYouâre wrong. I know you are.â Turning without another word, you felt your pace quicken, desperate to go somewhere private and just think. Thor canât have been right⊠he couldnât have beenâŠ
Right?

There was a soft knock on your door, pulling you from your thoughts. Blinking, your back straightened, your head turning just slightly to gaze back at your doorway. Sure enough, there stood Loki.
âYouâve heard,â you mumbled, hands falling to your lap once again as you turned back to your window.
There were soft footsteps, before you felt your bed dip beside you, signalling Loki had taken a seat by your side. You didnât, not since looking back at the door, tear your eyes off of Asgard before you. You took solace in the peacefulness that surrounded you from all edges, the reflection of Asgard shining in your eyes.
Loki noticed that. He noticed the sadness in your eyes too.
âI did.â
Biting your lip, you blinked back your tears. âItâs amazing,â you commented after a moment. âHow the world just moves on. News spreads fast but no one seems to care.â
Loki didnât have anything to say to that.
You finally gazed at him, and it was the first time Loki noticed the tears streaking down your cheeks. âI know my mother was never a queen, unlike Frigga. But I thought, after all sheâd done, that people wouldâve at least mourned.â
And though it was so very unlike Loki, he grasped your hand in his own, meeting your gaze with determination. âYour mother lives on in you,â he whispered, âhere.â He raised both your hands, placing them against your heart.
You let a small, hesitant smile fall on your lips, leaning against Loki. You didnât say anything, and all Loki did was wrap his arms around you. But it was enough.

âItâs funny,â you laughed, cheeks flushed, âlong ago, you wouldâve done anything to be sat where your brother is.â
Loki stiffened, ever so slightly, but know him long enough and you noticed. Though you knew it was not out of discomfort, but regret. âTimes have changed,â Loki whispered, setting down the decanter that heâd been fiddling with. At his words, you felt a smile grow on his features, watching as Loki slowly turned to face you. âIâve changed.â
âI know,â you nodded, taking the few short steps his way. Wrapping your arms around his waist, you leant your chin against his chest and peered up at him, through your eyelashes. âIâm just reminiscing, I guess. Back in the days, when you two would just bicker and chase each other around.â
âAnd you,â Loki smirked, âwould sit and pick flowers.â
âHey!â You exclaimed, grinning. âI did much more than âpick flowersâ.â
Laughing lightly, Loki pulled you tighter against himself. âI know.â
Letting your head fall against his chest, you sighed wistfully. âYou think weâll make it?â
You missed the guilt that flickered in Lokiâs gaze. But you did notice the way his grip tightened, as if out of fear and he took a deep breath. âDefinitely,â he said, finally, after a moment.Â

the comfort she gave me

Loki had said definitely. He had.
So why? Why was he turning pale? Why was there fire and smoke and dead bodies all around you? Why was Heimdall dead? And, oh God, why was Thanos here? Killing Loki?
Had all of it been a lie?
You stomach twisted, and your heart plummet, meeting Lokiâs eyes as life slowly left him. Youâd never felt this way before, not even when your mother died. That was different. Of natural causes. This⊠This was so much worseâŠ
This was the worst pain youâd ever felt.
