A beautifully bright Sharpshooter in the genus Baleja! Such pretry iridescent blue-red wings! With a phosphorecent yellow body! And such a cute puppy face!
Their clipeus has some interesting markings, it looks like it has many eyes!

Conservation Status: Near Threatened.
I was soooo excited to see a few of these guys on my trip to Texas!! I had only ever briefly seen one before and never even got a photo so I wasn't 100% sure if I had actually seen a Piping or a Semipalmated, but now I can say I've finally officially seen some!
