Studies from life of some swifts I met, who were under the care of a wonderful swift rehabilitator.

The climate crisis-fuelled heatwaves in Europe this summer have resulted in larger numbers of swift nestlings jumping early to escape the heat of their nests. These are some of the lucky ones who were found and given a second chance at taking to the skies of our changing world.
