“I can bench more than you!”
i cant even call this work KFDLASJFLDSA;LKFADS
Angela has asked me to ask you to stop calling her "Baba Yaga"
“Tell her to stop flying around in a mortar.” Zarya replied, trying not to grin as she focused on making dinner for the two of them. It was Kazakh noodles, heavy in onion and garlic. It was their ‘dinner whenever they got a chance’ night. Sometimes Angela joined them, but tonight she was on a mission. It was a strange little family that she was glad to have. “Tell me, has she found how to give her apartment chicken legs?”
Don’t forget to stretch

Amazing.
Zarya/Mercy commission for @19j ♥ thank you so much for commissioning me! c:
Sorry for the extreme radio silence going on lately. I’ve had a lot of rl stuff going on with fixing my sewing space and getting my friend ready for Dragon Con. Hopefully, I’ll be around more for replies in between comp OW and getting work shit together. Ty to everyone that’s stuck around and been so patient with me. You guys are the best.
scarslookgood:
“Both, sometimes.”
People knowing who he was still threw him. After seven years of (relative) anonymity, it left an amorphous pit of discomfort in the space below his heart. However, Reinhardt was a friend, the memories associated with him were fond.
Morrison smiled, bare and thin, but visible. “Then there’s Aikido principles and moving too fast for anyone to land a hit. It’s not all brute strength, soldier. You know better than that.”
The attitude didn’t bother him. Her confidence was well-founded and hard-earned, plus she was young. Attitude and arrogance was what hotshot soldiers in their twenties did. Morrison knew – he’d been one.
“And if you don’t know better than that, you’ve got a lot to learn, Zaryanova.”
The old soldier taking her jabs at his pride in stride surprised her, causing a warm smile to cross her face. “I may not know the names, but the ideas are not unknown.” She replied, shrugging slightly. “It is hard to avoid some things, even if you are fast. That is when strength is at a premium.” Some of the mechs that came out of Kataya’s facility came to mind. They were so large that being fast meant nothing. It was a good thing against the omnics, some were small and fast and nearly impossible to deal with without something that was just bigger and stronger overall. “Though, that does not mean I do not have much to learn anyways.”
The lunch hours is all but finished, but before Zarya can get up to leave the cafeteria, Reinhardt plunks himself down in the seat across the table from her. Wordlessly, but with an impish grin, he slides a plate towards her. On it is a single but incredibly ostentatious pink-and-blue cupcake, a lit candle poking out of the mound of glittery frosting.
Zarya looked up from her magazine in surprise as her father dropped into the chair, opening her mouth to crack a joke at him before the confection was placed before her. A wide smile crossed her face as she set her reading material aside, practically bouncing in her seat from excitement. “You remembered!” There was pride in her voice at that statement. It had been one of those slightly awkward catching up conversations they had right after they learned of their relation, but the fact that he remembered warmed her heart. “Thank you.”

sends her a note, "lunch, sunday at 1300? y/n"
She sends the note back, a large pink heart around the Y. “Sushi bar? y/n”
iironhardt:
“That’s better.” Reinhardt replied, fetching her the additional plates and adding them to the bar. “Keep this up and we’ll have you back in fighting shape in no time.” It was likely a bit of a white lie, but only a small one. Being on active duty didn’t really afford the kind of spare time she’d need to work her way back up to where she had been in her competitive days, but there was much progress to be made regardless. And the actual lifting was beside the point, really; Reinhardt had no real clue how to best approach the sudden familial relationship they’d had thrust upon them and so any shared interest that could be bonded over was important.
“You know you’re going to look awfully silly with that tattoo of yours crossed out.” He teased, nodding at the 512 that covered her entire left shoulder. “Why did you get that anyway? You were what, 25? 26?I never would have imagined you as a woman to rest on her laurels like that.”
His confidence in her was comforting, taking a moment to sip on her water as he added the weights. It was strange, learning someone you’d admired for so long was actually your father. It wasn’t a secret that the man her mother married wasn’t her father and she should have caught the clue when she was raised on tales of the Crusaders, their bravery and loyalty inspiring her from a young age. Though right now he was goading her to shoulder punch him.
“Haven’t you kept up with the technology, old man? The number can be changed when I reach my next high.” She replied with a snort, crossing her arms. “I was twenty-five. And I am not resting on my laurels, I am challenging myself to be better.” Her hands were dipped in chalk, soaking up the sweat that dripped down her muscles. “I can do better.”
It’s been a hectic month, but here’s a doodle of a ship I like. 💪

{A lil’ mini promo for a chill Tuesday. I’m sure you guys all know the drill by now, like or reblog if you’re interested in interacting with an indie Reinhardt Wilhelm of Overwatch and I’ll come check you out!}
So I used to have a Russian friend who had a pretty thick accent and like a lot of Russians tended to eschew articles. She would say things like “Get in car.” And stuff.
Well one day this asshole who had been kind of tagging along with us asks her why she talks like that because it makes her sound dumb and I still remember her response word for word.
“Me? Dumb? Maybe in America you have to say get in THE car because you are so stupid that people might just get in random car, but in Russia we don’t need to say that. We just fucking know because we are not stupid.”
