does anyone know. does anyone have a clue what kind of creature this is
the position made it look like the letterboard is a speech bubble and he's screaming it
My epicsauce based atheist kids don't like moses waste half an hour of your life in finding out why
if your kids don't think enslaved people have the right to fight back using the power of god against their enslavers and read it as villianous behavior then you have shitty kids. Start over
Unique trick to take longer to boil water useful in kitchen prep for longer cook times and taking longer to boil water
a recreation of how I slept last night (very refreshing!)
that’s not a me problem
THE LEGEND, THE ICON, THE BABY ITSELF, IN THE FLESH?! ðŸ˜ðŸ’›
*insert piping plover emojis here*
I'm literally working outside of work hours rn (taking a lil break) to enter plover data bc these little buggers are so busy rn I spend all of my time in the field
I adore that this got in front of someone who was indeed working plovertime.
When youre a kid youre like wtf adults are making themselves sick with poisons and when youre an adult youre like i need more poisons ASAP

happy pride month
we justifiably give Biden a lot of shit but I think "at least 3" is the funniest possible response to some right wing dipshit asking you how many genders there are
wait it gets better
I feel like I need to share this because idk if Europeans are familiar with the presence of Aldi in the US, but at least especially in my area they’ve been growing a lot recently. Like Aldi bought out some local failing grocery chains where I live (Louisiana) and have opened Aldis in all these somewhat rural communities and small towns, which for the record I’m fine with
But as a result of this they are advertising a lot more in my area and also in many cases, the people in these areas have never been confronted with Aldi or any European grocery store. So the ads that Aldi is pushing out to its new US customer base feature a cowboy shopping at Aldi who is explaining to new Aldi customers how Aldi works. Like this cowboy is explaining you gotta put a quarter in the shopping cart and why there are very little name brands. A cowboy is how they want to reach their American customer base. They gave us a cowboy
Here he is, the Aldi Cowboy
happy pride month everyone!!
[Hungarian who is a little confused but wants to be sad over some national tragedy] jajj de fáj a tatárjárás......
NO I hate that man so much. My teacher back in secondary school had us read Fekete Szüret a Badacsonyon and i hated every single second of it. I can't explain it I just felt a revulsion
I've never met anyone who enjoys herczeg ferenc. and that includes multiple literature teachers.
i think it's a "oh look at this guy he wasn't a native hungarian speaker but he loved it so much he even changed his name" type of thing. Or they were out of ideas when putting the curriculum together
the reason they forced him into the curriculum is that he WAS a big deal in his time – but in politics mainly. he was deeply conservative and a revisionist. (yes trianon did deeply hurt him. which is what inspired bizánc, which was originally going to be about mohács, but again, it affected him too deeply so he had to write about something not hungarian)
and at the time the people did love him for some reason. they tried to nominate him for a nobel prize three different times. he just never ended up getting it for reasons I cannot imagine
