I picked up the puppy, I gave her a cuddle, she licks my face and knocks my earphone out of my ear, it doesn't hit the floor.

I assume it's gotten caught in my clothes, accessories or hair around my neck area, so after I've put the dog down I begin looking for it and it's not anywhere?

Like... I've shaken out all my clothes, taken off all of my accessories and crawled around on the floor and it's nowhere to be seen?

Where is it?!

When I was a little boy, girls used to just do random cartwheels for no reason. Then one day, they stopped. Now that I am a man, no women randomly do cartwheels. This is because society is evil and killed the cartwheel impulse in their soul. They don't even spin horizontally anymore. It's fucked up.

side note, but i feel like this is a good example of how autism manifests in seemingly "low support needs" individuals. I can get a permit that is very hard to obtain, go to another country where nobody I work with speaks the language I do, hold myself together while I kneel beside a dead raccoon to try to determine cause of death, write reports for institutions to mitigate risk to raccoons, etc etc etc. but then the moment something like this happens I freeze up and curl in a ball and have no idea what to do because I have no money or skill to fix it myself and i'm scared of the textures. And also literally cannot speak on the phone ever.

No, it's not inappropriate. It is a really common feeling for a lot of autistic people society deems as "low support needs."

There's a lot of frustration and shame in it, too, because of the way the world as a whole treats us. I think it is rooted in Aspie supremacy or whatever (internalized and external), but there is so much focus on the so called magical, wonderful abilities autism gives you (in my case, raccoons/costume design), that when you exhibit autistic traits more commonly associated with "high support needs" individuals, people automatically go "ummm I think you are faking/lazy/stupid/weaponizing incompetence/blah blah blah because I have seen you do [xyz thing that people find incredibly impressive], so you should easily be able to do [current thing]!" When that is not how autism works. Additionally, I don't think most people realized that a lot of "low support needs" autistic folks aren't infact all that "low support needs," it's just that they don't have people able to meet those support needs, so they just struggle. And because nobody is there to see them struggle, then those struggles don't exist.

I wish there was a way to completely OPT OUT of GEN AI. Like you could set your ENTIRE Internet browser to NOT shove it down your throat.

When social media was getting big, you could just NOT get a Facebook or a Twitter. It was simple as that. You can't do that with GEN AI.

Trying to find a job? It goes straight to an AI filter. Trying to look at art? Here's 100+ ai shit. Trying to look up who was in what movie from the 1980s? GOOGLE GEMINI IS HERE WITH THE COMPLETELY WRONG ANSWER!

Someone PLEASE create a way to allow people to get GEN AI the FUCK OUT of our lives if we DO NOT WANT IT!
