i looooove interpretations of gordon where he is straight up not a great dude. well-intentioned for sure maybe not a Bad guy necessarily but just like an average flawed person in a role where he has a pretty daunting amount of power over the people hes interacting with and that + the general stress of the game doesnt make for like. a situation where anyone can be the best version of themself yk. also i just think hes a lil fucked up on a fundamental level. hes allowed.
