I've read your stances on proship and rape fics, with: "if someone... it's okay" etc., etc., and those are pretty reasonable opinions, but what if it just turns person on and they are no victim to cope?

that’s still awesome too as long as the “victims” in the stories are fictional characters and the person doesn’t harm anybody in real life.

I was never a victim. I write and read non-con fics where my favorite fictional character is the victim because I find the horror hot and it gives me comfort also (when they are rescued and being nursed back to health, despite the injuries and the trauma).

some people enjoy whump—be it nsfw whump or not—because it’s their kink, and that’s just as awesome and valid.

the same thing applies to couples who engage in cnc — the point is that they get off on pretending to be victims and aggressors, but all parties involved are actually consenting adults, in a safe and controlled environment. no one is actually being harmed.
