The stage play for STARMYU announced the cast today and bless Arthur Lounsbery for existing. Whether he auditioned for the character he played in the anime or was connected about the role, the dedication he has for this series is amazing. Considering the role of Kaito was his first role as a main character in a series, I can see why he’d want to reprise his character in the play. Now I can’t wait to see everyone in costume!
Arthur has been expressing his desire to play Tsukigami Kaito on stage since the beginning of this anime! A few examples on Twitter [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] that I can think of atm. Even the anime’s director, Tada Shunsuke, admitted that the resemblance between Arthur and Tsukigami is just so uncanny, both personality and appearance wise~ This is like the best of both worlds! <3
