Sora rolls his eyes and slumps in his seat. His maturity stretches far enough to contain a groan of annoyance but his frustration is evident nonetheless. Riku, growing antsy watching Sora pilot and often reverting to his role as a backseat driver, keeps blaming him for being lost, as if he’s not the designated navigator of this trip.

sora has trouble sleeping. he loves it when his friends join him travelling but more often than not he’s on his own so his insomnia goes unchecked.

he has a massive complex about proving himself. hardly anyone validates his efforts or tells him he’s done a good job, no matter how far he goes. he genuinely enjoys helping people anyway but he will sacrifice his own wellbeing to help out strangers for that sweet sweet validation

he hasn’t fully processed everything that’s happened over the past few years. he’s been going non-stop and hasn’t had time to take a break and think about it. he’s feared for his own and his friends’ lives more than he can count. at this point, he will keep fighting and keep adventuring to avoid it catching up to him

he has undiagnosed ptsd. he’s been triggered heavily once or twice but doesn’t know what caused it.

he compulsively checks on his friends several times a day to ensure they’re safe, but often forgets to let them know the same
