Quick comic I did using new pens (kinda messed up on the sky) with Ghoul Girl's new colour scheme
Prepare to meet the world's 5248th greatest superhero team 'The Adequates'! They're just good enough to be needed but they're nothing special when it comes to crime-fighters. They consist of members:
-Power Owl/Thomas Oasis (the chosen champion of the gods of Olympus who is easily confused and scared about most things but still somehow manages to save the day due to either the sheer incompetence of the supervillains he faces or sheer dumb luck)
-The Screaming Skull/Rosaline Smith (a dark brooding monster-hunter wrapped up in her dark haunting past who is way too serious and afraid to admit she has a soft side)
-Ghoul Girl/Sarah Eliza Phillips (The sidekick/
girlfriend of Rosaline, she is cheerful and nerdy, providing an encyclopedic knowledge on all-things superhero. She also happens to be a ghost from the 1910s)
They are mentored by their friend, the enigmatic Hecate Moonlock (the inventor of magic who sometimes joins them but is usually off on her own adventures with her other god friends)
Together they face off against evil fiends such as The Phantom Ghost/Jack Phantom (Power Owl's archenemy) and his minions (Lenary, Lilily and Prof Mole), as well as the reality-bending Dr Synapse and the legendary Medusa (don't worry I changed her so she lacks all the nuance and depth the other versions do), and many more (but nobody worth mentioning here because I didn't put any more photos of any more characters).
Will this weird trio be able to stay in business by being adequate? Will they ever become better than adequate? Maybe find out at some point because I'm not sure when or if I'll ever be bothered enough to make any more comics.

Hello Tumblrians, I've made Sutekh (Pyramids of Mars version). I put off doing this because I wasn't sure if I could get the mask right, but I think it worked out well in the end. You can take his mask on and off (but you do have to fold his ears over his eyes before putting it on). Like with my 15th doctor, I drew out a plan before making this one, which helped a lot.
Greetings from Gallifrey, Tumblrians! A while ago, I made Sutekh from Doctor Who, but my neighbours started turning to sand, so I decided to make the 15th Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa). Usually I just go into these things with no plan (or weapons or defenses or anything to lose) but after my first attempt at Sutekh's leg came out too small (causing me to have to make the leg again) I decided to make a small simple plan for this one. The sonic screwdriver is attached to Velcro, so you can take it on and off. I think it turned out well, although the coat is a bit too bright (if anyone points that out, I'll just lie and say it was based on the 73 Yards costume) and I could have added a bit more detail (which I might add in later). I might add the necklaces at some point too, but I think he looks great at the moment.
"I am Sutekh, the god of death. I am the night. I am the terror. I am the loss. And all life will perish at my hand!"
I've made Sutekh (Empire of Death version), and I'm really proud of how he turned out.
The TARDIS he's clinging onto was made by my brilliant Nan and was essentially the basis of the project because I had to try to make room for it to fit and also keep Sutekh to scale with it. I didn't know how I was going to make the fingers, and the first hand was made in a bit of a rush, but I ended up liking how it turned out so I made the other one the same way.
Overall, I'm really happy with Sutkekh. I could come back to make some improvements (maybe pad out the fingers a bit to give them more shape or add more detail around areas like the jewellery and mouth) but I think it looks fine at the moment. I do also plan to make the Puramids of Mars version at some point, but I've got some other projects in mind first. In the meantime, I bring Sutekh's gift of scrolling for you Tumblrians, and your tiny, vile, incessant social media app!
Hello once again, tumblrians! This creation comes straight from the 5th dimension. It's everybody's favourite imp, BATMITE!! I made him back in January, but I forgot to post him but now I've started making stuff again so I thought I'd show him off to the world. You can probably tell that I didn't have enough light blue or dark blue to stick to one so I had to use a mixture of both (which i think ended up looking good). He's a bit bigger than the Castoff Frankie I made previously.
Greetings, Tumblrians! I just thought I'd share this mini Frankie from the webcomic Castoff. I had wanted to get back into sewing, and I decided this was a good thing to try based on the materials I had. I also wanted to try making the small details (like facial features and the map) with the cotton instead of pen like I used with past projects. It's not perfect, but overall I'm really happy with how it turned out.
Something cute is coming...!
A little bit of elaboration: The petition campaign doesn't officially launch until Sept 2nd! If you're worried about missing your chance, you can opt in to e-mail alerts!
Once the petition starts we'll have about 10 days to get 200 pledges for the plush- if we make that minimum, we'll move into the actual prototyping and manufacturing stage, and then have a proper preorder/crowdfund in December. But it all hinges on us getting the 200 pledges, so set a reminder for the 2nd, sign up for e-mails, and don't miss out! <3
(And who knows, if this one does well maybe we can do some of the other characters...!)
