My husband and I don't want kids but we really love dogs

We're getting a new puppy in the next few weeks

Husband is 10000% having a baby fever stage but in dog form??? Keeps asking when our baby girl is coming and telling our chihuahua she's going to be a big sister and talking about little paws on the ground

It's the most adorable thing and idk I'm just so joyful and lucky to have such a loving partner and grow our family

Sweet Flower just turned 12!! We got her two Christmases ago from a rescue specializing in senior and special needs dogs. She was saved from a hoarding home with a bunch of other chihuahuas and it's suspected she was used for backyard breeding. Feeling very 🥺🥺🥺 right now because (surprise!!) we're considering getting her a little puppy sister.
