love how ridiculously massive he is compared to her. Mikko is built like someone who could move a refrigerator by himself, while Nova weighs approximately one baguette. Yet somehow every dachshund owner ends up taking orders from 0.5 kilograms of stubbornness.

Frankly, I respect Nova. She looked at a professional athlete and thought, "Excellent. My chauffeur has arrived."

Like, I may have my sports loyalties, but we must admit that WPBL NY naming their team after a civil rights activist is in fact, the most important thing ever. They named the team after a woman who fought for literacy, biomedical ethics, racial equality, women's rights, worker's rights. I think there's a lot of power in choosing to honor such an important WOC as your namesake.

MAJOR WPBL ANNOUNCEMENT: NAMES AND LOGOS!!!

Per the WPBL Instagram. I first saw the names sans context, but looking into them more I truly think these are well thought out and do pay homage to women's history, and in the case of LA, the history of women's professional baseball. IMO Boston and NY have the strongest logos but in combination of city identity, color palette, and iconography, SF does have a lot going for it. Matches a lot with what the Giants do with their city connect unis.

Very exciting time to be a baseball fan, can't wait for games to start!! ❤️❤️❤️
