I think next thursday is gonna be the best day of my entire life tbh
reblog for next thursday to be the best day of your life
From the bottom of my heart i hope 2020 is a better mental health year for everyone.
not to be all in your business but…..i hope you’re having a good day 📢
how to really get to know someone:
- look at their handwriting
- read their favourite book and search for pieces of them within the pages
- listen to their music and let it resonate with you
- go to their favourite place
- stay up ‘till 3am and let them spill their heart out to you
- ask them unusual questions that you never even thought would intrigue you
- spend a day with them doing nothing
- look out for the things they subconsciously do when they’re happy
- watch how their smile forms
- go through old photos with them
- use their body wash when you shower at the persons place (truly, you’ll feel it)
- talk to their parents, grandparents or siblings
I love the ones added <3
-Make them laugh and learn their different laughs (my personal fave to share with someone is the sleepy-drunk laugh)
- make art with them, sitting in the silence just drawing or painting, or having deep conversations while making art, both realllyyy connect them
- spent time with their pets (but not too much because they might be jealous) - notice how they squeeze the toothpaste bottle.
- let them tell you their dreams and ask if you can look it up for them, share the results.
- learn their impulse buys/decisions
I’m sorry I ruined your lives and crammed eleven cookies into the VCR.
How to Make Yourself Do What You Don’t Want To Do
1. Rather than listening to the voice in your head that is screaming “I hate this; I don’t want to do this” think about why it is a GOOD thing to do.
2. Instead of trying to pretend that you don’t feel this way, accept that you are feeling very blah and negative.
3. Don’t think about results and how well you think you’ll do, as this could raise your feelings of anxiety and fear, just think about “right now” and the first thing you can do.
4. Accept that life is tough, and is full of things that suck – but recognise that doing hard stuff is better in the end. You’ll likely have more choices and freedom, if you do.
5. Just do a little bit for now – then give yourself a proper break – then go back and do some more – and soon you’ll find you’re in the flow.
6. Don’t allow your mind to wander and think of other things. Stay focused for that short time – and then stop, and have fun.
“The more you know who you are, and what you want, the less you let things upset you.”
— Stephanie Perkins
“You were born with potential. You were born with goodness and trust. You were born with ideals and dreams. You were born with greatness. You were born with wings. You are not meant for crawling … Learn to use them and fly.”
— Rumi
7 Daily Reminders
1. My self worth does not depend on what others think and say about me.
2. My self worth does not depend on how I look or what I weigh.
3. My self worth does not depend on my marks or performance.
4. My self worth does not depend on my number of followers.
5. I am enough just as I am.
6. I can succeed despite a bad day.
7. I am beautiful and valuable – and will treat myself with kindness and respect.

3. They respect others’ perspectives, needs and boundaries.
4. They listen well to others, and try to see their point of view.
5. They’re kind and understanding, warm, respectful and accepting.
6. They’re trustworthy and loyal, and they think the best of you.

You can’t just give up on someone because the situation’s not ideal. Great relationships aren’t great because they have no problems. They’re great because both people care enough about the other person to find a way to make it work.
