Redwall: Evergreen Will - Chapter 1 Demo

A WIP fangame based in the world of Redwall by Brian Jacques

William is a mouse living at Redwall Abbey who has only known peace and wishes for nothing more. However, when a group called the Red Talon, led by the enigmatic Hound, arrives in Mossflower, William, along with various other beasts, must put a stop to them.

Chapter 1 is complete enough that it's a decent representation of how I want it to play. I've been working in RPG Maker MV long enough and one day I was like, "making a Redwall game would be fun." Thing are subject to change, obviously, like currently the music is just from different RPG's that inspired this, and I'm probably going to change those and the sound effects to something more fantasy/Redwally. Either way, if you end up playing, I hope you like it.

also im praying this works ive never actually properly deployed an rpg maker project before. if not ill just reply to this or something

Is it stupid for me to say fanfiction is one of the things I'm most proudest of? I've worked on one for two years, which is a lot longer than I usually keep other projects, and I'm actually putting in effort and doing research and trying to make it the best I can, even if it's not perfect. Every word or bit of fanart I've gotten about it, good or bad, means so much to me that it's affected people at all.

Idk there's a concerning amount of accomplishments or stuff I'm not proud of or feel apathetic for when I definitely shouldn't be, but I'm actually proud of this

Words to use instead of “said” organized by emotion/intention 2.0

Said is NOT a bad word. ~75% of the time, it’s all you need. But here’s some alternative when you really need to spice up that dialogue! 

Use sparingly for more impact - especially the more dramatic verbs.  Emotion and intent are complex! I tried to reduce redundancy as much as I could, but some words are simply going to be in multiple categories. i.e. “anger” and “loud” share a lot of words
