#i'm actually so heartbroken rn#i'm head over heels for the guy i'm with but i'll be working abroad for the next few years at the minimum#and he pretty much said tonight that he can't commit to a long-distance relationship#i know it logically makes sense and it would be naïve to assume that he wanted an ldr#but it still hurts#because i truly already love him and can see a future with him#and two#because#i've already had to turn town other amazing once-in-a-lifetime opportunities#due to getting my dream job#it makes sense. he's way too amazing of a person to be tied down to me for the next year#he's so sweet and funny and perfect#but i'm still sad man i don't think i can even take staying with him until graduation anymore#it's going to be too hard for me emotionally#after he just left i cried for like 5 minutes straight#fml. this is going to happen to me a lot as an international researcher won't it?#...
