Light snores filled the room as your eyelids fluttered open, taking in the sun light filtering between the curtains and into your room. You looked around slowly, trying to register what time it was until your eyes landed on your alarm clock, telling you it was still early.
Movement on the bed next to you caught your attention and you rolled over, your lips pulling into a smile at the sight of your boyfriend sleeping peacefully next to you. You turned your whole body ro face him, admiring him as he slept.
'He must have gotten in after I fell asleep,' you thought.
San was always working so hard that you had to remind him to take breaks to eat and sleep, otherwise he would forget. You reached up, gently brushing his bangs out of his eyes, before chipping his cheek softly. You felt him stir and watched as he slowly woke up, blinking several times to adjust to the light.
When his eyes focused, a smile spread across his face before he said in a deeper than usual voice "good morning." You smiled, repeating his words back to him. "When did you get home?" you asked as you felt his arm snake around your waist and pull you closer. A content sigh left his lips before he answered.
"Around 3," he said in a soft tone. You nuzzled his neck, enjoying the warmth of his embrace. "Go back to sleep," you whispered. San shook his head. "No. We're both awake and I wanna spend as much time as I can with you today," he yawned.
"Then let's start today with a nap," you suggested as he rolled onto his back, pulling you onto his chest. "I have a better idea how to spend the morning," he murmured, pulling you in for a kiss. You tried, albeit not very hard, to pull away, claiming you had morning breath. San chuckled, kissing you again. "I don't care," he said, shaking his head.
"I'll kiss you no matter what."
