You get the whole walk cycle and the little sprint at the end.

Sometimes her sprints last for like 4 or 5 seconds and she can shoot herself off the couch or into a wall if she gets a grip with her back claws. If she does it next to a wall, her head smacking into it sounds like someone is trying to break into the house. She doesn't wake up.

Later in the dream she injured her paw and was limping, and earlier she caught something and ate it.

i swear the world would be a better place if we all stopped writing cover letters. like no amount of effort seems to make a difference. you can write a cover letter carefully explaining how your last job was exactly the same thing this company is looking for. you can tick every box, you can address it to the specific person in charge of hiring, you can whisper the secrets to success in the industry and some person will spend all of 30 seconds looking at it.

you can go in person to a company, hand the documents to the manager directly, have a charming conversation, date for 7 months, get married, raise a family, grow old together and then STILL get an email back that starts with "we looked through many promising candidates".

I know we can't stop writing them because some asshole is then gonna be the only one writing cover letters and ruin it for everyone. however just for a moment i want to believe in a world where we can put in as little effort in applying for jobs as people put into denying applications.

#in all fairness i can put in that little effort #but i will 100% not be hired if i do #as opposed to the 99.5% chance #you get if you put in hours of effort into job applications

evangelist ads on tumblr are crazy because half of them are just a bible passage and a picture of a sunset as if that'd ever work. then theres the other half which look like advertisement trying to sell new arcane implements to wizards, are 12 paragraphs long and only reveal the jesus twist in the last one.

Sometimes i'll go onto the 'for you' page and just scroll through, blocking accounts posting about fandoms i'm not interested in. Its therapeutic, it reminds me of the environmental storytelling bit games do where they'll leave a deck chair, empty bottles and an ammo tin in some safe area above an enemy spawn.
