Hi tags! Out here looking for new rp partners who would be interested in some OC x OC writings (not replacing anyone). I am open to various plots and ideas, but I do have some that I was leaning towards. Primarily looking to double up. There are a few (not common and older) faces that I would love to write against. On my side, I would be looking for MxF, with myself playing the F. For your side, I am happy to write m, f, nb, etc in any sort of pairing.
Slice of life ideas:
The strong, high school sweetheart couple that everyone assumed had a perfect relationship, finally hitting a rough patch in their marriage and having to work through that. Be it differences in what they want in life, dealing with grief over a loss, injury or illness plaguing one, etc.
Two divorced and jaded individuals figuring out that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and second chances for love do come around when they find one another. Could also work for someone divorced and someone widowed.
Small town opposites attracting. Could include (legal) age gaps here. The pairing that isn't supposed to be together causes all the gossip in town to stir. They face hardship of getting the relationship accepted, and while it strains things, they refuse to break and come out the otherwise.
Celebrity and someone far from the spotlight. Celebrity and crew member.
Mafia/mob/criminal:
Arranged marriage between two rival families to bring peace about. Could contain an age gap (legal). The fight of having to learn to live with someone that they had thought they hated growing up. Or the struggle of having choice taken and made by someone else.
Civilian getting thrust into the life. By some choice they made or by one made by a family member. Someone who isn't accustomed to the violence and the way of life that the criminal leads.
Killer x innocent individual/non criminal. Or killer x killer. Darker themes likely contained within this one so please be cautious.
Supernatural/creatures/horror:
Soulmates that never seem to get it right throughout time and each reincarnation finally getting the chance to have the life that they want. The chance almost slipped them by, or they thought that they wouldn't get it this time around.
Vampire x reincarnated lover who doesn't remember their past lives or the bond that they shared. The vampire having to hide their nature and try to rekindle the bond/get their reincarnated lover to fall in love with them all over again.
Opposing creatures being fated mates.
An individual turned into a werewolf and the partner that has to learn how to deal with that. The unpredictable outbursts, the threat of the full moon, the change in diet. They desperately want to stand by the one that they love but aren't exactly equipped to do so, and trial and error with this could be a fatal mistake. Their partner tries to push them away but they aren't having it.

there’s something really beautiful about telling a story where everyone just wants to help. there is no ulterior motive for completing quests, no threat or punishment waiting for them if they don’t, just people. people with hearts that care and minds that think for others.
we need more stories like this one, i think. we need more ways to see that, even in a wasteland, there can still be kindness, there can be love, there can be beaches.

one of the things i really like about how brennan dms is that he is categorically incapable of punishing kindness. every time one of his players does some crazy ass shit out of the goodness of their hearts, he adjusts the universe to accommodate that kindness. this obviously creates very touching scenes (see: emily and the junkmother, the bad kids getting jawbone a job as a guidance counselor, every interaction they have with baba yaga including pib stealing from her, etc.) but also it means that he lets ally invent a silkworm civilization that's evolved to the bronze age and produces chain link patterned silk shirts just to cheer emily up. bronze age silkworms. for emily.
