hey, my county was hit pretty badly back home by rain and it’s genuinely at a level i don’t think any living resident has witnessed in the area. it’s at water-rescue level. a lot of people are having to be saved via-boat. if you have the time today, i’d really appreciate some prayers for the whole county—it seems like we really need it.

i’m grateful to God that my family is placed where we seem to be immune to flooding, but i want prayers for those who have been far less fortunate with the rain.

the uptick of these events has been scarily steady. i’m afraid of what the future holds.

"it's not my job to educate you!" then truly, it is no one's job to understand or educate others at all--that gap they speak about will only grow. if the idea of helping others to understand disturbs you so much then you have no room to claim that humanity has lost its empathy because you are included in the reasons.

"it's not my job to rationalize or understand the opposition's views!" then truly, it is not anyone's job to understand or rationalize anyone's views. should we care why people murder? should we care why people rob? no--because we should not understand or rationalize anything but our own views. tower of babel, we speak none of the same language. be an echo chamber and yell at those you do not understand while neither of you receives a singular word.

when we act greater than those we oppose, we set ourselves up to be the fools. rejection exacerbates the separation--hate creates more hate. does that not make sense to anyone?

just a reminder that assigned sex at birth exists for a reason which is not to oppress intersex people, but rather to identify someone with the care they need.

afab people need different care than amab people. that’s not oppressive, that’s nature. if you’re afab but identify as a man it’s still important that you inform doctors of your birth sex as the care differs depending on the body. if you identify as male and don’t tell your doctors they may not provide the appropriate care. obviously a vagina does not urinate the same way that a penis does—that’s just a simple example, it goes way deeper.

also USE GOOGLE, afab and amab terms were coined by QUEER GROUPS here recently in the 90’s and 2000’s, use GOOGLE. these did not exist until TRANS ACTIVISTS invented them.
