The band is Bad Wolf (because they're goofy), with Jacob as the lead singer/guitarist, Embry as the drummer, Paul playing bass, and Quil as the rhythm guitarist.
He burns CDs for Bella, music that reminds him of her. And he writes her love songs...maybe an entire album's worth.
Jake gets SO excited every time she comes to his shows and always does something on stage to show off for her...Bella blushes like crazy and Embry teases him for it backstage (but she loves it and it works every time soooo....).
And he goes to her concerts too, buying a secondhand suit and bringing her wildflowers (she presses them so she can keep them forever), sitting right in the front row and looking at her in wonder.
He plays a metal version of Swan Lake (with samples of her music) and burns it for her.
Jacob with black nails and band tees and long, dark hair? Jacob with tattoos and piercings?? Jacob getting a tattoo for Bella??? (it's a band of music notes wrapped around his bicep, probably one of the songs he wrote for her). Also, Bella constantly wears his tee-shirts and he loves it, they're HUGE on her.
He gives her his guitar pick on a necklace, she gives him a black leather bracelet she always wears.
Bella gives up music during the AU's version New Moon (both playing and listening to it) and Jacob slowly brings it back to her. He loves Type O Negative, Godsmack, Three Days Grace, Misfits, Metallica and Iron Maiden (🎶listen to Iron Maiden, baby, with me🎶); Bella loves Mazzy Star, Paramore, Death Cab for Cutie, Ruelle, Novo Amor, and Evanescence. They both love Linkin Park, Sleeping At Last, Yellowcard, and Simple Plan.
The first music she listens to in forever is FROM ONE OF THE CDS HE BURNS FOR HER and suddenly the house isn't quiet anymore and she's smiling again, when did she forget how to smile? When did she remember?
Can you imagine Ed somewhere, all depressed and miserable in New Moon...only to hear song on the radio, some loud love song that reminds him so much of Bella only to find out later that IT IS about Bella because that was Jacob fucking Black's band lmao
Leah has her own all girl metal band and the guys are terrified of them, these girls are next level hardcore. You know that trope of "you broke my heart and now I'm singing a hate song about you while you're in the crowd" thing??? Yeah, she did that to Sam, Jacob thought it was hilarious, he's still laughing about it (cue the rest of the pack singing it throughout the day while doing random mundane shit because it's a really good song and got stuck in their heads).
He lets her wear his leather jacket 🖤🖤🖤
Some of his songs are about monsters (both the wolves and vampires) and while singing one of these (a deep, guttural song), Victoria is watching in the crowd, her eyes on Bella and Jake.
It becomes tradition for them to ask the other for a "good luck kiss" before shows/auditions/concerts.
When she has nightmares, he sings her soft, slow songs until she falls asleep again.
