It’s not unusual for people to stare when she wanders through a town, though it’s less of an occurrence in larger cities like this one. There was a part of her that wasn’t surprised by the girl’s words because weird things tend to happen more often than she would prefer. However, she does enjoy the excitement every now and then.

As he was held, she was likely to notice that he weighed as much as his size would suggest. Heavier than most small dogs, but not quite as much as a full-grown beast such as a German Shepherd. The weight of a toddler was the best way to describe it. His brown fur was very warm and fluffy, and the body beneath it was soft, like a kitten’s own feel. Holding him likely filled her with the same sort of warmth and comfort.

“Uwah~!” He squealed out as she swayed back and forth. “I’ve been sad without you!”

She swayed him back and forth in her arms; enjoying the warmth that was being emitted from the other. Due to the constant moving, Chitoge never had the chance to have a pet- of course, she didn’t see her small friend as a pet but it felt as if she was cuddling a dog.
