Τα βουνά δεν υπήρξαν ποτέ. Το χώμα, η θάλασσα ήταν αυταπάτη. Τα λιοντάρια, οι νυφίτσες, τα αγριολούλουδα ήταν εικόνα σουρεαλιστικού κάδρου. Το σύμπαν, οι πλανήτες, οι αστερισμοί ήταν υπόθεση επιστημονικής ταινίας. Η βροχή, το κρύο, το καλοκαίρι και η άνοιξη ήταν υπόθεση εργασίας. Ο πόνος, η σεξουαλική έλξη, η χαρά, η ευχαρίστηση, ο θυμός, το μίσος ήταν αποτέλεσμα ψυχιατρικής έρευνας.
