I sure do looove going out of my way and bending over backwards for my friends and them swearing they owe me big time for it and then when that time comes when I desperately need help (and I let them know months ahead of time when I would need help and what I would need) they suddenly remember a bunch of stuff they scheduled for themself that they simply can't cancel. My wife and I have been having to move literally just the two of us. Both of us are chronically ill and we've been trying to move our stuff into our new house in the dead of summer in the deep south for like a week bc we can only handle so much physically. And this isn't the first time this friend has done this exact thing. And we've talked about how it's a problem at length for years and they're like "you're right I'll do better." Love it here love it here love it here I love feeling alone and not having a local support system I can rely on. Happy pride month to me.
