This is my main blog. It is reblog heavy and multifandom. I try to tag triggers; but if I miss anything, let me know, and I'll fix it right up for you. I also block liberally.
Askbox is closed for right now. DMs I prefer mutuals-only. Mutuals can ask for my Discord tag as well. I don't bite...not hard, anyway :3

The erasure of Blackness from 'stemme' & 'stud' and why it bothers me
This is more of a vent post/social analysis then 'what is stemme 101' but to summarise stemme stands for stud-femme lesbian. A stud in basic terms is a Black lesbian with masc presentations and roles. A stemme is a Black lesbian with fem and masc presentations and roles. Stemme is a Black lesbian term but according to tiktok it's 'just being masc and fem' and 'has nothing to do with race'. And that pisses me off.
Black gender nonconformity is barely represented. There isn't a 'how to be GNC whilst Black 101' and it gets really isolating tryna figure yourself out with no one to help you. Tomboy and androgynous representation is predominantly white. Being tomboy or andro is associated with having short straight hair or a buzzcut on a white body. Black women in hip-hop and R&B helped to shape Black masculinity and femininity in pop culture. Aaliyah, Queen Latifah, Left Eye, Da Brat etc. helped shape the Black tomboy aesthetics we see today. A large chuck of queer masculinity borrows off of Black, especially Black American, masculine aesthetics. The durags, the chains, the caps, the trainers, the AAVE etc. it all goes back to hip-hop culture.
Black women aren't allowed to be masculine. We're masculinised but we can't be autonomously masculine (people don't get this distinction when this topic comes up but that's another post babes x). Despite Black women, especially darkskin Black women being called mannish and strong we don't actually get to reap the benefits of being masc. We don't get to be the positive masc traits like being smart, brave etc it's only the negatives. And this is 2x harder if you're trans. It gets really confusing as a dark-skinned Black girl excluded from femininity growing up whilst also being so feminine and girly apparently you're on the end of misogynoir. Stem(me) basically summed up my relation to gender pretty well. There was never a word for this experience growing up.
So when I go to look up stemme and it's predominantly white lesbians in snapbacks I don't get a good feeling. And when I see shit about how stem 'had nothing to do with race' I'm fuming. Even more so when people say STUD had nothing to do with Black lesbians. Huh?? Black women's representation is already lacking in most areas even for cishet Black women. But Black GNC identity is SO rare. We can't even have a niche of a niche. That's how little Black culture matters in society's eyes. 'What do we use then?' Chapstick. Tomboy. Tomboy femme. Butch. Masc. The dozens of representations that have always represented your experiences. You're gonna be fine I promise you.
The main thing that set off this vent was seeing some tiktok user make a video crediting herself for defining stem as being masc and fem and ignoring all the Black lesbians that called her out and the audacity for her to say it 'used to mean that' and that 'terms evolve' .
Taking Black lesbian terms and changing their meaning is not evolution. It is theft. Erasing Black tomboys and erasing the literal stud from stud-femme, stemme, is just continuing the erasure of Black LGBTQIA identities in a society that already doesn't want us around. Stemme has always been stud-femme and I'm gonna always honour that, even if I stop using the label for myself, even if no one else will.
Every time I come back here, I see yall posting all manner of antiblack tomfuckery, I'm about to make a Black Planet account and delete this shit, lol.
Yall are so…why is it that you're always chomping at the bit to shit-talk Black Americans like we the only poc in America?
If you wanna have a discussion about the intersectionality of privilege and how living within the wall of the imperial core shields us from the same type of oppression that people in the global south experience and how we can even contribute to the oppression of people in the global south through joining the military etc., we can do that! We can and SHOULD have that dialogue! But why does it always have to devolve into yall shit talking Black Americans and telling us our experiences actually aren't that bad? I saw whole white Europeans trivializing the MOVE bombing up here...all you bitches are sick and twisted and need to seek God. Deuces.
And like, I can understand the frustration of seeing people of color in America be blissfully ignorant of the ways we participate in the system and contribute to it. I do not deny that at all, but it's weird as fuck to me, as an afro Latina that yall don't seem to have the same smoke for Latin Americans that you do Black Americans? Like I don't see yall talking about "Those damn privileged Puerto Ricans!" because you understand that to be forcibly absorbed within the imperial core is not truly being accepted within it.
I'm not interested in downplaying the oppression other people face. It's unproductive and it gets us nowhere in understanding how we all participate in white supremacy as a power structure in some form or another because that is the nature of the system.
Yes, some people participate in it more, some get more benefits from that participation and we can talk about why that is but this thing of running to cast doubt on other marginalized people's struggles because you don't think it's that serious? I can't get behind that weird shit. At. All.
Edit: And before one of yall gets slick, I'm Dominican AND Puerto Rican. Don't get it twisted, I'm not throwing nobody under the bus cause I'm not a weirdo bitch like yall.
"She's calling for a ceasefire and she's actually pro-palestine" losers need to shut the fuck up. She knows that Israel wants a whole regional war and she's gonna give it to them. White Americans you need to do fucking something about these people.

There's an EU initiative going on right now that essentially boils down to wanting to force videogame publishers with paid games and/or games with paid elements such as DLC, expansions and microtransactions to leave said games in a playable state after they end support, or in simpler terms, make them stop killing games.
A "playable state" would be something like an offline mode for previously always online titles, or the ability for people to host their own servers where reasonably possible just to name some examples.
I don't think I need to tell anyone that having something you paid for being taken from you is bad, which is a thing that routinely happens with live service and other always online games with a notable recent example being The Crew which is now permanently unplayable.
Any EU citizen is eligible to sign the initiative, but only once and if you mess up that's it. You can find it here. (https://citizens-initiative.europa.eu/initiatives/details/2024/000007_en)
Even if you're not European or you signed it already, you can share this initiative with anyone who is, even if they don't care about videogames specifically because this needs a million signatures and there is different thresholds that need to be met for each EU country for their votes to even count and could also be a precedent for other similar practices like when Sony removed a bunch of Discovery TV content people paid for.
ID: A banner with grey 3D models of 5 kinds of manual wheelchairs in a line in front of the disability pride flag and text that reads "Manual Wheelchair References" /End ID
For disability pride month, I decided to release a pack of 3D manual wheelchair models.
The pack includes 5 wheelchairs:
2 Active urban-style chairs (one of which includes a smart drive)
1 off-road active chair
1 children's wheelchair
and 1 standard "hospital" wheelchair).
All the wheelchairs are based off either wheelchairs I or friends of mine have used
Downloadable here!
or on the Clip Studio Paint Asset Store (ID 2097442) (there's been an issue with the CSP version, but the models in the download folder can be imported into clip studio paint until I can fix it)
More info about the download contents below:
The first download link includes the original .Blend file with all 5 chairs, as well as individual .obj or .fbx files the chairs (All but 1 have an .obj file, as they're only meshes. The chair with the smart drive is rigged, which is why it has an .Fbx file instead so it will retain that information) as well as a "read me" file that explains in more depth what kind of disability/character/lifestyle each chair is made for (These are just what I had in mind when I designed them, they are usable by other characters who don't fit the suggestions for the most part!) I wanted to include the Read Me contents in the CSP Asset Store listing, but CS said it was too long lol.
Also, as the title says, these files are free to use! While it's not mandatory, I would appreciate credit if you use them (or even just a tag so I can see the cool art you make with them!!)
I actually made these ages ago, the original plan was to use them in a series of posts then release the pack, but I never got around to making the series and so they've just been sitting here. I took a day off from art fight attacks to clean them all up and get them ready to post. If you experience any issues, let me know and I'll try to fix it up.
I had a couple more that were supposed to be in the pack including a sports (basketball/Tennis) wheelchair and some different styles of wheelchair, but I think the files corrupted so once I fix (or remake) them, I'll probably make a second pack.
when i was a tiny baby queer (aka a 24-year-old), i went to my first pride festival probably three months after i kicked ex-gay therapy to the curb and came out to my parents. being the people they are, my parents came with me. they weren’t really sure about this whole gay thing, but they loved me and wanted me to be safe and happy and wanted to be involved in what was important to me, so they came along. (i also think my mother still might have thought i might get drugged or murdered or beaten by a protester of which there were plenty.)
anyway i wanted a memento of my first pride, you know, and this one vendor was selling keyrings, and i liked it, so i bought one. do you remember those italian charm bracelets that were all the rage like 10-15 years ago? it was a keychain like that, and it had a rainbow rooster, a rainbow cat, and then just a rainbow, and so I bought it.
i run into my mom a couple of vendors over and she goes oh you bought something? what’d you get? so i showed her, and i was like, “I’m not sure why it’s a rooster and a cat. Seems kind of random. But I liked the rainbows.”
and my mom, who was some form of minister’s wife for most of my childhood and teenagerhood, stares at me like she thinks i’m joking.
“What?” i say.
“…it’s a cock and a pussy, Jules,” she says flatly, and that is the story of how i died at the age of 24 while attending my first pride festival.

its a new month tomorrow, so ill make a new general support post:
Help a Black disabled Trans couple stay afloat!
heres a lil throwback of me n my wife from when we first started living together 🩷
(id in alt text!)
so, as many ppl know by now, im a mixed Black tme nonbinary person, and my wife (left) is an Afrolatine trans woman. we are both disabled, and my disabilities are so severe that i can no longer work a regular job. my wife, on top of managing her own disabilities, is my full time caretaker, and has also been furiously on the job hunt to try and get us more stable income so we can be less reliant on ebegging to no success. she has a potential job lined up, but until that shakes out and shes able to start getting paid, we need help!
we get less than $150 a month in food stamps, which is not enough to last us the entire month given i have a lot of complex dietary issues and restrictions that make buying food expensive. my wife needs her allergy medication, as she has pretty severe allergies on top of chronic sinusitis, so every day she has to go without is another day she risks another sinus infection she'll have to deal with. we also just recently had a roommate move out who left a large majority of our apartment in a disgusting state, and we need to buy several types of cleaning products so we can start to deep clean my apartment.
all that to say, we have a lot of expenses with no income right now, and to top all that off, i am diabetic and have not eaten a meal in 6 days. that is extremely dangerous, and i would desperately like to avoid an ER or urgent care visit because my sugar crashed too hard bc i cannot afford to eat. folks can help by donating here, here or here, or can support us monthly here. thanks so much for reading, reblogging and kicking me some change if you can.

So, I'm just trying to figure out what the norm is so that I can get a good grade in Tumblr (a thing that is normal to want and possible to achieve). I see some people tag their queue, but I also feel like there are people who are queueing posts without tagging them (it's me I'm some people). What do you do?
thoughts on using the queue function on tumblr dot com?
I use the queue function, and I tag my queued posts
I use the queue function, but don't tag my queued posts
I don't use the queue function, but I prefer people to tag queued posts
I don't use the queue function, but I don't care if people tag their queue posts
Something else??? (Please explain? Help me study for my test in Tumblr please)

The Jews who literally moved from Europe to occupy Palestine are somehow Indigenous to Palestine but the Palestinians with unbroken presence and lineage since the dawn of time are not Indigenous because they speak Arabic.
Charlemagne is French history because modern day France inherited the heritage of the Franks but Jesus isn't Palestinian history because while modern day Palestinians did inherit the heritage of the exact same civilization as it went by different names before 'Falasteen', it is an inconvenient thing for zionists and their propaganda that we can have unbroken presence and history in our own country since the creation of agriculture. So no we can't call anything that composes our history Palestinian, because some bitchass white crackers think they have to give us permission to talk to each other about our own history.
Accept these facts and don't think too hard about the scrutiny placed on Palestinian history that isn't placed on anyone else's history or culture.
If today you tried to claim that any country that experienced conquest or occupation didn't have a continued history prior to those occupations or conquests, everyone would laugh in your face. But for Palestine it's considered acceptable to question and requestion whether we actually have any connection to our own heritage because it is a foundational point in zionist propaganda to do so. Nobody ever questions that Algeria had a history prior to its occupation by the French! Or that its modern day people are the product of its old old history. But Palestinians have no rights, no right to a home, no right to peace in life or in death, no right to survival, no right to fight back, no right to a future, and no right to a past. The goal is the complete and total isolation of Palestinians from all sources of dignity.
Everytime you allow these denials of our history to happen in front of your eyes you are witnessing another iteration of our cultural genocide unfold.
