sekaiichi hatsukoi tarot readings: onodera ritsu
here are my pulls and interpretations from last night’s tarot reading. i wouldn’t normally share because i know it’s ridiculous to read for fictional characters, but these were just too good!
past - the moon: deception, misunderstanding, and mistakes when in the past position, i am inclined to read the moon as a miscommunication leading to some kind of mistake in judgement. perhaps the person being read for had a habit of expecting the worst and being sensitive to anything that could be even vaguely perceived as criticism, leading to some action that the person regrets in hindsight.
present - six of wands: success, progress, and recognition the main meaning of the six of wands is victory and gaining self-confidence. although it is one of the sixes, which are associated with romance, i find the six of wands to be a more personal card acknowledging one’s own achievement or growth. a pitfall of the card is pride or ego hindering one’s movement forward.
future - six of swords: transition, letting go of obstacles, and movement towards an outcome for me, six of swords is a good indication of someone with emotional baggage attempting to move forward in life. in the future position, it may indicate the metaphorical removal of weight from one’s shoulders. i would normally read it as an indication that the person being read for is on a journey to set aside past mistakes (see the moon) and current pride (see six of wands) and reach their goal, which may be uncertain at the moment.
because of the emergence of a pair of sixes (any pair is symbolic of partnership and sixes are associated with love and romance), i decided to find ‘the lovers’ card and examine the cards on either side.
relationship factor #1 - the emperor (i wheezed for real) the emperor is indicative of some kind of male authority figure offering help to gain skills or recognition within a field of work. there is valuable advice being passed on coming from a place of love (not usually in the romantic sense, but in this case i would say it is), caring, and genuine intention in aiding in success.
relationship factor #2 - ace of cups aces a associated with beginnings and new endeavors while cups are associated with relationships. the ace of cups is therefore most often associated with a new relationship or a reemerging relationship after a considerable amount of time and space apart (sound familiar?)
let me know if you liked this and would like to read about my takano reading, which was similarly juicy. thanks so much!
