Hey guys, welcome to the last page in the book of Cities&Citizens!  There’s been a lot of great stuff that has happened over the past 3-and-a-half years as a result of this little blog, and I want to thank everyone for the support and inspiration!

I will be keeping Cities&Citizens (and the secondary and tertiary blogs) open as an archive to look back upon for myself and anyone else who wishes to do so.

However, I’m also not dropping off the face of the earth, so I’m migrating to some new platforms…

1) Website (portfolio)

2) Long-form blog (integrated with website)

3) New Tumblog (sketchbook and fragments; separate account)

And I will still have my Instagram feed, which can be found here.

I will be linking to site and blog updates on Tumblr and Instagram, so definitely follow me on those platforms and be sure to check out the new website.

If anybody has any questions or comments, don’t hesitate to ask as I’ll still be checking into this account for the remainder of the week (or more, as the demand fits).

whoah! i just realized that you've been posting british columbia, washington, and oregon photos in between edmonton shots - - love them! they turned out great!! but you must still have hundreds (thousands?) to go through from that trip ;) looking forward to seeing more!!

Yeah, haven't seen you around these parts as much lately! Thanks though, I'm quite happy with how some of the photos turned out! And I definitely have more to go through. It's really quite ridiculous but at present count I've gone through 7800 photos from the trip, with much more still not posted and I still have some memory cards to go through. Nice to hear from you! Cheers!

3 and 2,000

Well, two milestones were hit recently for Cities & Citizens.  Yesterday was the 3-year anniversary of my first post here, for starters.  Part of me is surprised that I’m still running this blog after everything, but it’s also kind of neat because I haven’t committed to any one thing photography-related for this long.  Cities & Citizens has certainly taken on new looks and grown since I started it in 2012, but I think it’s interesting to look back and see that growth.  I’d definitely invite you guys to check out the archives if you’re bored.

Speaking of growth, about a week ago, this blog also rolled over the 2,000 followers mark.  Not sure what to think of it, but perhaps I’ll use that to give a plug to my other outlets in the hopes some of you might check those out as well...

@tylerbiard -- started as a “catch-all” blog but has morphed into personal photos and other side-projects

@gardensofelysium -- not updated often, but a look at found photographs and postcards that I’ve scanned
