why are people saying that they're finally able to play ts1 and ts2 again soon? the installers exist, you'll be spending money on stuff that you can have for free with community fixes.
↑↑↑ Osab's installers are fantastic and easy to use. I actually reinstalled TS2 on a whim a few day ago using the web installer and I was so impressed. It gives you all packs + bonus Maxis content + all necessary fixes, for free.
I have been told this is all way too complicated and they don't want to go through the game files to fix the game (completely ignoring that they explicitly do not need to with the installer).
At this point, I am convinced that some individuals cannot and do not want to read and therefore require a huge red DOWNLOAD HERE button, hence why they are so willing to be tied to the EA App
In case anyone needs this post, here it is again <3 please do not give your money to EA. If you need any help contact your elders at sims1 and sims2 communities, if you need it easier then do the same. I know most of us are disabled in many ways or have no time to go through a pirate instalation, but I know this is also a beautiful community with many people who are willing to help you. Just please do not give your money to EA.
