“you and me both !! i need a little fuel before i collapse, that would be one fast way to ruin a vacation.” a small chuckle escaped the man’s lips at the thought, his nose crinkled slightly. “see, i feel like this should earn me a little badge or something… i mean how many guys can say they’ve taken a girl to eleven DIFFERENT countries in one day,” he teased, beckoning his hand in the direction of the ornate french pavilion.

cheeks were flushed with color, “you are the TRUE prince charming.” nothing could break her spirit. not here in this moment at disney world. “it’s truly been a treat being here strolling through these countries together.” stepping beside him as they walked. “france---- seems romantic.” eyes sparkling as she admired the beautiful ‘france’ they were heading to. “what shall we eat while in this delightful place ??”

“You’ve never been to Disney World before?!” Michael asked, eyes wide with surprise. He thought he was the only one, since all his friends talked about trips to Disney. 

“no---- never have i ever dreamt of such a place---- how wonderful !!” claire was glowing with excitement. “will you tell me everything about this glorious plot of land. well---- it seems there is A LOT of land. someone was quite creative about this DISNEY WORLD !!”

“It’s a rollercoaster themed after a trip to Mount Everest.” Sally explained with a grin. However her grin soon disappeared at the other’s next words. “What do you mean you’ve never heard of Disney World? Have you been living under a rock for the past century?”

“i think i’m willing to try ?? not that i’m sure i’ve ever been on a rollercoaster before ??” racking her brain to remember, all of it was BLANK. “i haven’t---- no, i guess i’ve been a bit preoccupied with things ?? i don’t know, i am a hopeless woman !!”

“even though these rides have been pretty awesome so far, i feel like i could just spend the whole day eating my way through this park !!” a small chuckle fell from oliver’s lips as he rubbed the back of his neck slightly before his gaze flickered over towards the other standing beside him. “i heard that over in the france pavilion there’s gelato fried sandwiches, i feel like that’s something worth dying for.”

at the MERE MENTION of food claire’s stomach roared with hunger. “i think these rides have WORE ME OUT. we’ve got plenty of time to do more !!” clapping her hands with happiness. “you’re bringing me to FRANCE & to amazing food ?? if this isn’t the best day ever ?? i don’t know  if any other day could TOP IT !!”

“You. Me. Expedition Everest. What do you say?” Sally asked, although it was more of an order than a question. Ever since arriving at Disney, she’d wanted to try the biggest and most adventurous rides.

“i’m not too sure what that is ??” surprise danced across her pink lips. “i’ve never heard of this DISNEY PLACE before ?? what is the place you speak of ?? is it near by ??”

Michael couldn’t believe that he was actually in Florida. Despite having a decent amount of money, his parents didn’t really take him and his siblings on many trips out of the state. And they definitely hadn’t ever taken him and his siblings to Disney World or Universal, since the ticket prices were so expensive, and would be even more so for a family of five. “Wow!” He said, turning to the person walking next to him. “I can’t believe it!”

“i have NEVER seen such a place before !!” looking around with WILD EYES, completely flabbergasted by her surroundings. “what is this place called again ??” unable to peel her dazzling orbs away from the exciting sites.

holding out her arm, claire nodded. understanding what it felt like when alcohol went to one's head. “of course---- i’d like to help you with that, darling. i’m claire, i’ll be your steady arm.”

For some reason, some strange guy had decided that it was a good idea to try and grab Harley by the hip without her permission. She was used to this type of behavior but she didn’t have the patience to deal with it today. Quickly, she whipped around to the guy responsible glaring at him. “ Try it one more time and you won’t have any more hands to grab with. ” she threatned. 

what had claire walked into ?? “what the---” taken aback by how fast the other swung into action. taking care of herself like any badass woman would. impressed look danced across her features, “wow !!” was all she could manage to say. eyes were too mesmerized.

“well if there was one, i’d really like to go to one. i have never been to such a party ?? a cookout ?? what exactly does one do for a cookout ??”

this time it was henry’s turn to feel a wave of embarrassment wash over him, clearing his throat softly. “–married? i’m only surprised because you look quite young, but it makes sense considering how maturely you carry yourself.” he allowed his hand to rub the back of his neck before glancing downward for a brief moment. “i hope that your husband still takes you out for nights on the town, if i were him i would want to show you off.” 

“i’m a bit older than you think.” flattered the man even thought so. though her story was quite COMPLICATED. all very confusing, even claire found herself baffled by it all. “if only i had the time to tell you all about it. i’m---” pausing to mull over her thoughts, “i’ve been married twice, in fact. truly, it’s a long story.” both treated her right that was for sure. when she returned from her adventure, frank had changed completely, and not for the better. “why yes, i always go out with frank. we have such a wonderful time together. times were different when i was with jamie, my second husband.” claire was sure she sounded quite insane. “as i said, it’s a very long story which would sound--- quite mad.”

“sometime’s that can come in handy until it gets you into some trouble !!” shrugging it off, sympathetic expression on her face. “perhaps purchasing them would be easier for us ?? still a fun experience because we get to eat them !! it’ll be faster, too !!”

a smile eased its way onto henry’s lips as he nodded his head slightly in agreement with the other. “perhaps we’ll just have to be clueless together, which is better than being oblivious on your own.” he added in, a light chuckle escaping him. “i am QUITE surprised though, you look like someone that countless boys would be chasing after.”

“you flatter me,” giving the other a kind smile, cheeks colored a soft pink. “we’re in this together, at least. with that--- i’ll be sure to be more confident whilst still ignorant to everything.” letting out a dreadful sigh. “boys--- oh no, a man sounds more like it. i’m--- well, i’m not sure anymore, but i’m married.”

“aren’t you a lovely one yourself !!” nodding in agreement, it had been a while since claire had actually purchased something. to be normal for even just a moment sounded delightful. “oh yes, we could make them ourselves ?? i wonder how long they would take ?? homemade is always better--- or so they say ??”

“i’m not quite up with the times myself,” eyes widened as she spoke, “i’m completely ignorant to the ways of dating in the modern age. everything seems convoluted and confusing--- i don’t understand any of it !!”
