Fake Dates Always Lead Somewhere
Authors Note: So here is the long awaited part IV. With school starting back up I still won’t be frequent but I will be posting when I can. Like I said First Kill, HSMTMTS, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, Better Call Saul, and a number of others have been added to my arsenal so feel free to send me something.
After deciding you wanted to eat first Lucy took you to her favorite food stand, while Lois and Clark disappeared to the games. Once the two of you have found someplace to sit and eat you glance at her and smile to yourself.
Breaking the silence Lucy looks at you,” you and fairs what’s the story?”
“Just don’t like fairs,” you say, taking a bit to hide your nervousness.
“Mhmm let’s try that again. Why do you dislike fairs?”
“Who said I dislike fairs?”
“Y/N, what are you hiding,” Lucy asks suspiciously.
“I’m not hiding anything Lane I mean you did say you know everything about me right which means you had to have read my file that also holds my blood work,” you say continuing to eat your food. “Also I have been to a fair I just don’t remember any of the fun aspects.”
Lucy looks at you confused,” blood work?”
With a sigh you you start explaining,” I’m from a different planet, princess, and so are my siblings. Our biological parents dropped us off here to stay with some family that they had known for centuries.” You’re about to continue when you hear the creaking of metal and screaming. Lucy whips out her gun and points it at a blur thats headed straight towards Clark who has already swapped out clothes for his Superman outfit. The two of you start heading towards the ferris wheel while evacuating the people close to the scene.
“You should go see if you can contact your family I’ll try and help Clark.” Once Lucy is out of sight you reach for your ruby necklace and pull it off. Immediately you feel your fangs poke out and you feel the power begin to course through you at top speed. Launching yourself off the ground you see the blur fly at Clark again but this time it actually hits him causing him to let go og the upper half of the ferris wheel. You float over just in time to catch it before it falls. You spot one passenger, Peyton. She looks up at you and smiles you smile back showing your fangs. You find a spot to place the upper half down before going in search of Clark.
You close your eyes and initiate your night vision as you continue your journey. “Goddamn cornfield can’t see shit. Okay Clark where’d you fall.” You stand still and look around. You hear him before you see him and he crashes into you.
“Ow,” you groan pushing yourself off the ground. “That hurt.” You shake yourself off and try to spot the blur again. “So, what was that,” you ask Clark.
“For once I was hoping the DEO would know,” Clark says catching his breath.
Giving one last scan you can’t seem to find the blur again. “Well I definitely don’t but maybe Lucy might come on. Lets find the others and head home.” You put your necklace back on and start heading out the cornfield until you get lost and come back to Clark who is now sporting his dork look.
“I thought you were heading out the cornfield?”
You give him a look and go the way you had gone before this time he’s with you and you both end up right back where you were two minutes prior. “I really fucking hate cornfields.”
Clark chuckles,” its fine I’m sure Lucy will find us before we found her.” Theres a long silence between the two of you before he breaks it. “So, you’re a meta?”
“Alien, I was born on the planet Zuun,” you explain to Clark. “My family dropped us off here because Zuun was getting worse.”
“Um, levitate actually, I’m also genetically part wolf just less hair,” you say as you hear some rustling.
“Are you two okay,” Lucy asks she has your nieces hand in hers.
“LUCY! I’ve never ever been happier to see you,” you say going over and hugging her.
“So you and mommy are really related,” Peyton says excited.
You look at her and blink several times,” why would we not be?”
Peyton shrugs as you lift her up. “Lucy was worried about you. She also kept mumbling something about princess,” she looks at you with a face full of curiosity.
“So did you two catch the blur and go somewhere and than decide to land back in the cornfield or did you get lost,” Lucy asked.
“Lost, now can we get out please I hate cornfields,” you say.
Once you all get home everyone decides to head to bed. The kids had fallen asleep in the car so they were easy to put to bed. Lucy was already in your shared room when you went in. The silence and tension were definitely not pleasant. You looked over at Lucy who still had her back to you. Sighing you look to the floor before beginning to change. You were so lost in thought that you didn’t hear Lucy ask you a question until she placed a hand on your shoulder.
“Huh, sorry I was in my head,” you say straightening out your clothes as you get ready for bed.
“I asked you if you were okay,” Lucy repeated.
You eye her carefully, “yes?”
Lucy nods before punching you in the face.
You don’t know what sound has left your throat but you clutch your nose, “bitch.”
“Don’t ever call me princess again,” Lucy growls at you. “And as for the other thing we will be discussing that at a later date.”
